Big Band Week an X Factor favourite? :huh: Everyone I know hates this week LOL

01: Olly Murs 'Bewitched'

 

WOO! Did very well. I always thought Big Band week would be his week, and tonight I'm not wrong. He's getting alot more confident as the show goes on. Not the Jamie/Danyl over confidence/bordering smugness either. Really enjoyed that.

Olly: Another very good performance but I thought the song was a bit boring.....last weeks performance was much better 7.5/10

Olly Murs - Bewitched 7.0

 

This years (not as good as either) cross between Gary Barlow & Will Young opens the show up with the old pre-Rock'n'Roll standard that I most know for the Frank Sinatra and Ella Fitzgerald versions with a classy performance that was smooth but failed for me to sparkle in the charisma department.

I quite like that, Olly seems to be getting better every week the only problem its not a well known big band track, performed it very well and he seems to be the dark horse of the comp. I quite like him... 9/10

Enjoyed that more than I expected. Olly has really won me over now :wub:

Olly: Now I like Olly, hes definatly my favorite of the generally overated over 25's but he just cant keep my attention :( I like him though and hes the only over I wouldnt mind winning. 7/10

I'm watching the show on a bit of a delay (no ads ftw :kink:) so I won't be on this thread this week.

Before we start, this song choice could actually work very well for him, it should be a decent performance.

 

Oh dear. As flat as anything :mellow: Also lacking the charisma and the stage presence that is needed in Big Band week. He's managed to turn quite an upbeat and boppy song, into a dullfest. He looked lost on that stage.
