October 25, 200915 yr SOF might be there soon if someone performs it on X Factor Rock Week next week (Jamie)
October 26, 200915 yr I know I Gotta Feeling will be in the top ten next week. The track is legendary record breaking song. Look how it performed in the States and rest of the world. :yahoo: Edited October 26, 200915 yr by Tacticz
October 26, 200915 yr SOF might be there soon if someone performs it on X Factor Rock Week next week (Jamie) I'm hoping Jamie will do it again... I think Simon could be clever enough to pick him that song. Anyhow, if it does go back to the top ten that would only be its tenth week.
October 26, 200915 yr We are in a similar situtation to the early 1950's. Then Top 3 Singles often used to stay in the Top 10 for ages - without getting close to even 600,000 Sales, most of the time. It is the same now. Downloads enable Take That, (for example), to hang around the 'Singles' Chart for longer, without Selling as many as their biggest 1990's Hits did. So, if we were to use Points, to work out the All Time UK Singles, you'd find that many 1950's Hits were way up in the List, as well as many Hits from about 2005 to 2009. In neither case is it anything to do with those Hits outselling Hits from other Decades. Overall they are not outselling other Decades Hits..... Edited October 26, 200915 yr by zeus555
November 3, 200915 yr 17 weeks at Top 10 for BEP!!!!! Wow! Could they make it 20 weeks? Probably. Edited November 3, 200915 yr by buzz_person
November 4, 200915 yr I think "I Gotta Feeling" must be the longest run in the Top 10 since Celine Dion's "Think Twice" back in ... 1994! :o
November 4, 200915 yr 17 weeks at Top 10 for BEP!!!!! Wow! Could they make it 20 weeks? Probably. They deserve to but I don't think it's likely :(
November 4, 200915 yr It may get another couple of weeks back in top 10 after christmas perhaps? Great New Year song and all that
November 4, 200915 yr I Gotta Feeling has its best chance at a return to the top ten next week after they have appeared on the X Factor (they're performing MMH though) and Switch Live (which I doubt will have much effect)
December 7, 200915 yr sorry if there's a thread already, but it begs the question, what are the longest top10 runs ever? Obviously Frankie Laine, Wet x3 and Bryan Adams will have the BEPs beaten but does anyone have a list?
December 7, 200915 yr Hey Ya was non-consecutive. Boom Boom Pow is so much better than that other BEP piece a' $h!t.
December 7, 200915 yr Judging by the way it's going atm, it looks like BEP will have another entry to this list with MMH in a couple months :o
