I'm sure the Bon Jovi album will benefit more from The X Factor than the single?

Am I the only one who is completely bored of the majority of the people in this thread going on and on and on and on and on about Cheryl Cole and her crap song 3 words can't this discussion be moved to the Girls Aloud forum for everyone to repeat themselves about how great it is instead of clogging up this thread.

Greeat for Laura.

I think this thread has focused more on Pixie Lott than it ever has on 3 Words!

You're just very bored because you don't like our opinion towards it. I'm pretty sure you won't get bored if we will say the opposite or something like "talentless bint" or whatever.

No, do NOT spam the Girls Aloud forum please. Stay here -_-

Oh, and there has been blates more Pixie praising/etc. What bollocks that I bothered to read through

12. Just Say Yes - Snow Patrol

13. Don't Stop Believin' - Journey

17. 3 Words (feat. will.i.am) - Cheryl Cole

26. I Can Transform Ya (feat. Lil Wayne & Swizz Beatz) - Chris Brown

29. You Should Have Known - Laura White

45. We Weren't Born to Follow - Bon Jovi

58. Cry Me Out - Pixie Lott

61. Face Drop - Sean Kingston

64. Tik Tok (feat. Evey) - Hit Masters

I know what you mean, 3 words is like absolutely nothing in the charts right now, its not like a girls aloud song, its not like a BEP song. Its just a stand alone. And FFTL is going to completely overshadow it.

That's because if someone else released something like it, they'd flop and be ignored. I'm not saying "3 Words" is bad, it gets better with more listens (though I still prefer "Make Me Cry" and "Happy Hour"), but it's way too subtle for it to be a hit by someone with a smaller name. I've previously said it's subtlety reminds me of Natalie Imbruglia's lead single "Want" from this year, but she's seen as old news, was ignored by radio and was poorly promoted so it made #88 for one week. Basically, it's a good song, but it's the sort of song that only someone on the scale of Cheryl Cole, Lady GaGa, Rihanna etc. could release and still get airplay/buyers.

It should be against the law for Chase & Status to stand a chance of Top 10  They're absolutely horrendous on every level.

CLIMB CHRIS! :D

Does anyone have the link to the US iTunes top 300 feed please? (I've asked in the US iTunes thread but I think i'll get a response faster here :heehee:)

Laura is a massive surprise! I thought it had flop written all over it! It's also nice to see Pixie rising like this. I had not expected her to climb so fast!

'3 Words' hasn't clicked at all with me yet. I keep thinking I'm hearing 'Love Lockdown' (minus the amazing chorus) by Kanye West!

Expect 'Empire State of Mind' to start climbing again, the video has been released today! Very impressed with it to be honest.

Christmas Watch:

467 - All I Want For Christmas Is You (Mariah Carey)

541 - Fairytale of New York (Pogues/Kirsty MacColl)

857 - Last Christmas (Wham!)

969 - Do They Know It's Christmas? (Band Aid 1984)

I can't imagine listening to these at the moment

A long overdue full update.

"But if someone else had sung it" arguments I find to be quite strange. You could use that argument for any song that goes Top 10 and pick any flop artist to support the claim.

INCORRECT.

Chase & Status for #1.

Im surprised at Laura's single being so high. I thought she would have done a 'Jade'.

Come On Chris...climb higher! :D
