Posted November 2, 200915 yr Cheryl Cole 'Signs U.S. Record Deal' Published Monday, 2nd November, 2009 at 9:53 AM Cheryl Cole is planning to release her debut album '3 Words' in the U.S., according to reports. The UK singer has signed a deal with Interscope Records, reports the News Of The World, and the first single will be the title track - her Will.i.am duet '3 Words'. "The Interscope deal is huge for Cheryl, especially as Girls Aloud have never released a single there," an insider claims. '3 Words' topped the UK album charts yesterday, as did Cheryl's debut single 'Fight For This Love'.'3 Words' both album and especially single will do very well I think!
November 2, 200915 yr :w00t: Amazing for her! :o '3 Words' will be big for her, and then she'd probably release something like 'Stand Up' Hope she get('?)s success :w00t: EDIT: Thank GOD someone else but me has made a thread :heehee: Edited November 2, 200915 yr by FightForThisTheo
November 2, 200915 yr I doubt she will release Stand Up in US it's a very British sounding song. I fear that if she does well it could be the end for GA
November 2, 200915 yr I would DIE if she made it big there. Even to have one big song there I would die. But I highly highly strongly strongly doubt she will.
November 3, 200915 yr I've mixed feelings to be honest... I wish her all the success in the world but I really hope this doesnt mean the end for Girls Aloud :(
November 3, 200915 yr I'm really happy she's releasing in the US :D but I can't see her going back to GA after this? Unless they plan on breaking US aswell.
November 3, 200915 yr Author I think, if Cheryl is successful, GA will try and crack America, if that's not successful, then Cheryl's going alone and that'll be the end of GA imo.
November 3, 200915 yr As long as Cheyrl has got the X Factor gig (a lot of money) she doesn't have to leave Girls Aloud.....as far as her cracking the US, it is a real possibility. "3 Words" is the best song on the album and could easily be an airplay hit.
November 3, 200915 yr Best of luck is what i say and i hope it goes well, i think the whole solo cheryl project has exceeded everyones expectations and its only very early stages, either way i just want girls aloud to continue.
November 3, 200915 yr I just hope if chezza does end up leaving the group we don't all turn on her like a certain girl group's "fans" viciously turned on the recently kicked out member. I'll miss girls aloud if Cheryl's solo career means the end of them. But i don't think i would ever turn on any of them
November 4, 200915 yr If Cheryl even hits the top 50 in America I will shave my eyebrows. I'm serious. I just cannot see it. If someone like Kylie Minouge cannot break america, I can't stand see Cheryl doing it.
November 4, 200915 yr She gets a deal and decides to release this borefest as a single??? Surely Stand Up && Fight For This Love would be the only songs off the album with any point of releasing... Oh well. :P

Oh well. :P'3 Words' is the perfect single choice for America. Don't forget America have very different tastes to us and apart from the use of the sample, I can't see 'Fight For This Love' doing too well over there as a lead single. '3 Words' is perfect. Plus the fact it has Will.I.Am should help her take off a bit. :P
