Scottish kitsch-dance producer, Calvin Harris, burst on to the UK music scene with his tongue-in-cheek single, "Acceptable In The 80s", which reached number 10 in the UK singles chart. A blend of retro synth sounds, and knowing lyrics it set the template for Harris' debut full length, I CREATED DISCO, released in June 2007. The album was preceded by Harris' second single, "The Girls", which upping the ante with it's ironic claims of sexual attractiveness--set to a synth sample from the Human League--the single shot top number 3 in the single charts. - HMV

Pixie Lott must be the blandest popstar ever.

Calvin :yahoo: :cheer:

He's amazing! I'm loving anything he's released so far!

Did Calvin Harris feature on Dizzee's "Holiday" as well?
She is singing 'Cry Me Out' in Live Lounge soon, so I guess she'll have another shot at it then. I am praying they get her to voice rest - that version didn't do her any justice.

He wasn't credited :P

Has Robbie been yet? His new single is REALLY good. Deserves to outsell 'Bodies'.

Off Topic slightly but Cascada are finally releasing a good single choice from their albums :kink: 'Fever' is getting a UK release  (I've seen the video on The Box)

Nope, no Robbie yet!

He is on it briefly....but he isn't credited. Apparently he offered it to The Saturdays first and they turned it down.

Can he not stop talking about Calvin on the X Factor?

If he didn't prattle on so much he might fit a few more records in. And that would never do.
