Interesting. Thanks for that  .

Chuckie and LMFAO not making as big an impression as I'd hoped and expected...

I've repeated this fact many times already, but it doesn't make sense that a mashup that has created top 90 hits of both of its components should be this small a hit! I'm hoping for a Ghosts 'N' Stuff-esque late climb ;o

oh well, nobody's going to keep on buying songs they already own year after year!!!

funny thing is, I doubt they are selling much less now than in 2007, it's just that sales across the board have gone up so much that the xmas songs would need to shift a hell of a lot more than they have been to catch up

Come on 'Ego'!!!

If it stays in the mid 30's on iTunes this week will it break the top 40 on Sunday?

Might, might not. Seems to be rather random when ti comes to songs that do this. N-Dubz (PWF) a couple weeks back was at 32-39 ish all week and was #42.

GaGa really gaining a huge lead, plus don't forget the second entry at #36 :dancing: :yahoo:

well considering rihanna only shifted 50+ k last week and has more than likely decreased this week, bad romance may not be actually selling that well it just doesn't have much competition. im expecting peter kay to be #1 in the mids tmrw.

Good for GaGa, she better be number 1 in the midweeks tomorrow!

And 'Empire state of mind' finally starting to decrease, hopefuly '3 words' catch on it before an other song shoot up the charts!

I have noticed that Cheryl is a bit far from #10. I think she might stick there until Saturday. When she performs 3 Words on her own show Cheryls' Night in (I think that what it's called).

I don't think GaGa has a chance. Given Rihanna sold just over 50k last week and had a pretty comanding iTunes lead for some of the week, I'd say GaGa really needed to be at least twice the size of Rihanna's popularity bar to stand any chance.

Anyway, we'll see, and I don't think tomorrows mids will be that big an indicator either. Last week on Tuesday Peter Kay had a lead of around 45%, by the end of the week that had increased to 115%...

But also last week BR and MMH were pretty close on iTunes all week long and both sold 46k, whereas now BR is doule MMH.
