they're so underrated and hated around here :cry: but still I know I'm not the only one who thinks they're so cool to listen to.

 

Scouting For Girls are pleased to announce details of their second album for release in 2010.

 

The band release 'Everybody Wants To Be On TV' through Epic Records on the 22nd March. It will be preceded by a new single, 'This Ain’t A Love Song' on the 7th March.

 

Roy Stride: "We had the album written, but decided it just wasn’t good enough so we trashed it and started over again. I just wanted to write the perfect pop song. We are perfectionists!"

 

The album was recorded at Helioscentric Studios with producer Andy Green who also produced the band’s triple platinum debut album, 'Scouting for Girl'’.

 

Last year saw the band nominated for three Brit Award nominations (Best British Breakthrough Act, Best British Live Act and Best British Single), sell out multiple tours, and the 3 everyday guys from London emphatically became a homegrown phenomena.

 

Basically, it's gonna be good. Real good

 

I'm looking forward to hearing this, as I only recently got their debut after loving their 5 released singles and it's so good to listen to. hope this next album is the same.

Okay, I've not heard their album yet. But judging from the 5/6 singles they have released, umm... I don't think they are that awful. :lol:

 

The new single better be good.

I love them as well. Excited about it ;o

I don't like them because the lyrics are awful and the songs all seem to sound identical to me.

I guess a lot of artists have similar material but I just found the singer's voice to be really bad too :(

 

Be interesting to hear the song and see how the album does though :D

From that live song...it sounds like quite a good track. Slightly different to most of the stuff off their first album which is good. :D

I love that :o it's a different sound from their first album, which is great. it has a snow patrol sound to it.

Not bad. Good thing, they didn't stick to their first album sound (singles-wise), though it wouldn't be risky if they make another 'She's So Lovely'. :P

I loved their first album...and I love this new song too...can't wait to get their new album.

No one can deny the first few seconds are exactly like "Chasing Cars"
