It must be quite hard on Joe though...being the only winner to possibly not make the xmas no1. (Well apart from Steve if you count that one)

I actually wanted Joe to win but im sure the majourity of people want him to do well, its just the point of actually having the xmas no1 that people have a problem with i reckon.

I think with the physicals Joe will be sold by about 80-90k a day and if RATM hold up at 90k a day by the end of the week they will have #1 in the bag. And this chart will go into the music history.

Just :cheer: :cheer: :cheer: at THIS gap!

Great week for the singles chart, I can just imagine eating Xmas dinner listening to RAGE on Christmas TOTP this year, its not the type of track you would want to listen to on Christmas Day LOL
Wow! 92,000 yesterday alone!? :o  so maybe thatll teach Simon to not have the results on a sunday night and lose out on almost a days sales when there's a strong campaign going! :o
I think the gap is huge and they still ahead everywere so the gap shold be even bigger tomorrow, but pepole shold keep buying ratm song and not think this is it and when they wake up on the weekend it will be too late.
Joe isn't even selling at the same rate as Alexandra. So to say he's going to sell at 100k is a bit of an overestimate. It's pretty much done and dusted now.

People are way overestimating Joe's potential physical sales! Without a woolies closing down sale, they'll be a fraction of Alexandra's.

The years biggest physical seller, Peter Kay, was 80% DVD singles opposed to CD's.

It could be 100k if X Factor fans get as fanatical as the Rage fans

That's a good point - no Woolies this year :o

I don't understand how they call a 65k gap, a 10% lead in the article?

I would LOVE RATM to do it! I can't stand The Climb sung by anyone, dire song - I actually don't mind Killing In The Name

Joe's download sales are only going to fall now. I doubt physicals will make much difference, especially if they are 3.99!
Joe should still pull this out. His sales will be at least stable the entire week, and get a boost today with CD's, while RAGE will start to fall.

I doubt it. It will only rise.

6/4 on Bet365! C'mon easy money for christmas. :P

The 10% lead is from yesterday's midweeks, and doesn't refer to today.

Edits they are still f***ed up, its a top 20 now, every track has appeared twice.

MW updated (but they've posted this week's and last week's mids charts together, so we've got two #1'2, two #2's, etc, and only a top 20 :()

Singles Chart:-

3OH!3 up to #7, George Michael down to #11.

Albums Chart:-

Robbie #6, Leona #8.

Joe's physical is not cheap and people dislike the song and it's too overplayed, bigger than 80k won't be managed.

RATM's group is becoming bigger and bigger and keeps on going.

Ooooooh I finally want this to happen!!! RATM #1 WEEEE *yay*

They are selling it for 1.99 in my local Morrisons, a Joe hotspot, and they couldn't get them out quickly enough this morning!
