December 18, 200916 yr Oh and another point to make, physicals would do a whole lot better if they were stocked in all the shops that joe is stocked in. If supermarkets stocked physicals, sales of them would rocket. Its so easy to pop something in a trolley while you are walking round a supermarket, its a whole lot more effort to go into your local town and walk right into the back corner of some hmv shop somewhere and queue up to pay for one single item. THIS
December 18, 200916 yr will the commercial top 40 shows who count dloads only have to play Rage as their no1 since it totally stuffed the xfactor on dloads? Yes, though I think they will play the censored version. Poppycock! I have listened to RATM since 1992 and I f***in love that song. Nothing to do with the fact that it's Zack swearing. It's a powerful anti-racism/anti-establishment song AND it's only your opinion that it's not a good song. Bloody whining pop muppets on this board. It is a classic track from a classic album. I never said it wasn't a good song, though not everyone is downloading because of the song. The campaign has succeeded because of what the song and the band stand for, but you can't deny this hasn't been helped by the anti-Cowell stuff and the swearing in it.
December 18, 200916 yr Makes me laugh how these 'Rage' supporters are now saying "Simon Cowell is using his PR team to win it, thats not fair!" ?? and on Sunday when Joe gets to No.1 they will be like "Simon Cowell fixed it, everyone hate Simon Cowell, and the media, so unfair..blah..blah..." But it's Cowell and his cohorts who are trying to say "it's not fair". The same Cowell who has presided over a four month advertising campaign for his latest puppet. The same Cowell whose publicity team has kept the tabloids fed with front page stories for four months. The same Cowell who has benefitted from his show being discussed more than the chart on what is supposed to be the BBC's chart show. The same Cowell who has Max Clifford (the best PR man / liar /manipulator of the press - delete according to preference - in the business working for him. And now he's trying to claim that Joe is the underdog
December 18, 200916 yr "At the end of the day, while actually achieving the Number 1 spot would be a huge bonus it is to some extent irrelevant. Our main goal was to prove what the Christmas race and the UK Music Scene as a whole could and should be. There should be discussion and arguments, excitement and fun, variety and choice, and in all genres from pop to hip hop and classical to heavy metal, both fans and record labels standing behind their artists supporting them and propelling them to new heights never before imagined. Not just one form of bland karaoke being spoon fed to us by Lord Cowell from atop his mountain of cash because it costs the least to produce and generates the most short term profit for the fat cats at the top." December 18, 200916 yr Watching TV news this afternoon ... if there was a solid chance to dislodge the X-Factor from this year's number 1 ... then a chance was missed. Terry Wogan's goodbye from Radio 2. Maybe his silly 'Floral Dance' should have been picked. Obviously it wouldn't have had the same message as RAGE ... but I think it would have ended up with more of a result and the timing would have been perfect. 8 million listeners to his show and all ... if just 5% of them downloaded 'for Tel' (and add on the bandwagoners) ... maybe ... just maybe! Anyway ... its too late now. Norma Congrats Joe ... now f*ck off out of the chart as fast as you can please and take your big teeth with you! Edited December 18, 200916 yr by Norma_Snockers

December 18, 200916 yr ooooh.... nice copy and paste jobs, that's my handy work I saw a lot of pages on which others use your work. I copied many times what you wrote and searched this on google, because I was looking for artists for lower positions.
