OMG! I just read this in the Britney forum!

 

Q: Who else have you worked with recently? And who's coming up?

 

A: I've recently worked with Adele, Tiesto, Natasha Bedingfield, James Morrison, Keri Hilson and T.I. I also have singles coming out this summer with a bunch of new artists. Coming up, I'll be working with Kelly Clarkson, Brit (Spears), Rascal Flatts, Lady Antebellum and some others.

Hmm not sure if im excited or not... And Kelly has said that this album will have no big name producers so i dunno...

Kelly Clarkson's life might suck without Claude Kelly. So it's a good thing that the pop star and her "My Life Would Suck Without You" songwriter will soon be hooking up in the studio to work on tracks for her new album, a follow-up to 2009's All I Ever Wanted.

 

However Clarkson — who performed on the "American Idol" finale Wednesday night — is feeling these days, Claude Kelly is ready to use it as inspiration for the duo's next collaboration. "I'm ... really, really excited to go back in for Kelly Clarkson," Kelly told MTV News at the premiere for "Sex and the City 2" on Monday. He says that if you loved what they did on All I Ever Wanted, they're not going to settle for anything less this time around.

 

"Well, I wrote 'My Life Would Suck Without You' for the last album, so we're trying to take it up a level," Kelly, who recently worked with Christina Aguilera for her Bionic album, said. "She's toured the world with that album. She's experienced stuff, so whatever she's going through right now: fun, good, the bad, the ugly — we want to put on that record."

 

Some of Clarkson's newer songs have already leaked to the Internet. But Kelly isn't letting that influence what he does with the singer. "I haven't heard the songs, but I heard there's been leaks," he said. "Kelly Clarkson is kind of a force of her own. Her voice and her mood determine what she does. So I just want to do what's on her heart 'cause that's how you get the best songs out of an artist like that, is for them to sing what they really mean."

I only really listened to this because it supposedly has exactly the same verse as Arcade Fire - Rebellion, and it really does too!

I need new KC music too :( I love her :wub: I have all her albums :D I just hope her fifth album sells more than AIEW, i was quite suprised when I found out AIEW hasn't even sold 2 million :o

The new direction she speaks of sounds exciting, she's kind of lumped in one specific genre as far as most people are concerned unfortunately and I do want people to see how versatile she can really be.

^If she does pull off the Garbage sound then that could mean some big things from her. I hope she is still sticking to it as I would love to hear what she comes out with!
