Yay for Florence at #1, but shame it's with a mediocre cover of a classic dance song. And I don't think she'll be #1 next week as "Riverside" is obviously gunning for her. Florence hit #1 too late this week to hit #1 next week.

Sadly it looks like Robbie will soon be out of the top 10. But he had a great run with You Know Me -- his best single since Something Beautiful.

 

I liked Rabbit Heart, but hated her cover of Halo on the Live Lounge. I can't stand YGTL. She sings it with no soul, but then how could anyone match Candi Staton. It's so irritating how they felt the need to correct the grammar. Plus isn't this actually a cover of a dance mix, that is, even the original The Source version was a dance mix of a rare Candi Staton track. Florence should have found the original Candi Staton song and done a cover of that.

I can't believe Candi Staton's original of YGTL isn't getting any sort of boost at all from this. Maybe next week, assuming Florence actually charts top 10??

Riverside is so ancient, it was my holiday song in August at Malia, definatley a love/hate song aswel

Same here. Pity that Riverside is looking to knock Florence off the top, where she deserves to be :(

Depends if Florence is extending her lead over the others on the pop bars or not, she *was* going up fast herself! The higher she makes it on this week's officials the more it'll help her too.
