I don't really know the point in charity singles. I've already given about £3.55 to Haiti, and I certainly won't be buying "Everybody Hurts" as in my opinion, it's awful. Haven't listened to it in full, but that's because my ears can only cope with about half of it.

 

I have "Hero" & "You Are Not Alone" on my christmas list the past two years, and I got them both. Thought it would be nice, to do something for charity (even though I wasn't the one buying them), but I never listen to either of them. Won't bother this year - "Hero" was quite good, but "You Are Not Alone" was rubbish.

You guys are very impatient. Give it some time.

Helping Haiti is not going to go away fast, this week's midweeks are going to be so boring as we know what is going to be #1 already and for the next 2 weeks.

 

I saw the single in Sainsburys in a cardboard rack in front of the store, hardly anyone was buying it. People were just avoiding it.

completely different story in Asda, I was serving at the music desk for no more than 20 minutes and sold at the very least 30 copies - a lot of customers were buying two each...
