I'm seeing her live March 15th, and I sense that afterward I will feel my life is complete and die happily. I will report later.

That performance on Letterman is fantastic.

It's up there with the best of 2010 so far, there's so much good music it's hard to say which is the best but it's certainly a contender.

She's finally getting the recognition she deserves after all these years.
I love this <3. Literally every track is different and yet it keeps the same vibe and flows really well, especially the last few tracks. And the of Montreal track OMG. AND i heard this on my local radio station that targets housewives. To put this into perspective of how surprising/amazing this is it was followed by Abba and preceded by Chasing Cars.

Tightrope is @ 71 on Irish Itunes!!!! Hopefully a sign she can go at least top 75 here in the UK, at least on Itunes!

I hope this can at least make some impact on the charts here, she deserves it. I'm surprised she hasn't been given more support here. The music is good and the video is good, but I don't think I'd have heard it outside of my iTunes.

Saw her live on Thursday, I wrote a bit about it and posted some videos here but she was basically as amazing as that "Tightrope" performance would suggest. It was such a small venue (basically a pub with a stage area) but her performance was of someone who deserves to be selling out much bigger venues. You don't get many artists who can entertain with their energy, but also put the crowd in awe with their voice. Her cover of "Smile" is so gorgeous to hear in the flesh.

She's amazing live.

I think she's doing fine in terms of 'success'. Her album has been one of the most critically acclaimed of the year. I don't think she's overly concerned with getting that top 10 smash. Though she is bigger in the US than Europe; she's selling out quite sizable venues now.

Oh yes, I'd agree on all cases. She seems to have the sort of success she's after and it would seem her name is definitely 'out there' in the US, she's pretty pretty big performances on Letterman and BET, I'd assume this makes her a name people would know. The album sold better than they were expecting too. But over here she's likely to stay an artist known only by internet types. I suppose that's fine, but you know that when I'm liking a practically unheard of artist they're probably being overlooked. I'm interested to see how the album performs here.

Oh I didn't even know she was being released here, thought I'd reply since "Tightrope" is being released~

What a fantastic artist. I love her look, her sound, just everything. I agree as well, she seems to appeal to those who want what she does and isn't that concerned with worldwide appeal. Her stage presence and energy is just outstanding.

Just discovered the lead single "Tightrope" from Mark's chart and I've got to say this is great.

The single is free on iTunes this week for those that haven't already got it, and the album is released this week.
