Lady GaGa is a dance-pop singer from New York City. Born Stefani Germanotta in Yonkers in 1986, she attended the Tisch School of the Arts at NYU while performing at open-mic nights around the city. An early collaboration with rapper/producer Akon led to her signing with Interscope Records, which released her debut album THE FAME in October 2008. She scored a number one hit and a Grammy nomination with her ode to lost, drunken nights, "Just Dance." The song went on to top the charts in several other countries, helping GaGa to develop an international following. The vocalist made headlines at the 2009 Brit Awards when she, along with Brandon Flowers of the Killers, performed with the Pet Shop Boys on a medley of the synth-pop duo's hits, including the classic "West End Girls." - HMV

Is there a reason why you put last week's position in the prime position, i.e. at the start of the line? I've not seen that done very much before?

Still LOVE Bad Romance  Hopefully it will get a little boost next week after the Brits and stay in the Top 20 :) :)

Well, we write from left to right, so if something's moving FORWARD, the past would be in the left, if that makes sense.

she can't can she? as it has to be stuff from 2009

That was just rumoured. Her song is still rumoured too, no official confirmation on the song she's singing.

Considered one of the best lyricists to emerge in the wake of the Notorious B.I.G. and Tupac's deaths, Jay-Z has since carried the flag of hip-hop narrative skill. His Roc-A-Fella family had already created a solid reputation based on Jay-Z's 1997 debut. As his fame has grown, so has his tendency to bring more R&B production elements into his work, creating a club-friendly, danceable version of east coast gangsta hip-hop that hasn't diminished his reputation as a preeminent force in rap. Perhaps even more importantly, Jay-Z has become a powerful music impresario. In his role as president/CEO of Def Jam in the early 2000s, he fostered the careers of popular R&B singers Rihanna and Ne-Yo, and enjoyed a high profile as a co-owner of the New Jersey Nets basketball team. His long relationship and eventual marriage to superstar Beyonce has further endeared him to fans - HMV

I have no idea tbh. I'd love her to do a medley of all 6 songs though. Oh and APPARENTLY there will be a clip of the Telephone video shown at the Brits.

nope. its whats happening right now that counts....

so it should read T/W L/W Act Song

Well that's not the logic I have. Moving forwards = moving right unless otherwise stated.

Besides, I lay the recap out in the format they use in the iTunes thread, and nobody complains there ;)

Next up, an exclusive for Radio 1. Elvis Presley has died.

I'm going to Elvis: The Concert in Belfast in a couple of weeks time

Why should it matter how Bray displays it, so long as the information is there

Too many errors in the last couple of weeks, the whole chart mod team must be sacked

They could always apply for a job at Radio 1...

Marina and the Diamonds, really just Marina Diamandis (the Diamonds are the fans), was born in Wales to Welsh and Greek parents in 1986, although she has often claimed to be from Ancient Greece. After dropping out of four different music courses at four different universities, Marina decided to make her own way in music, and began writing her own unique brand of left-field pop songs under her new stage name. Following several low-key releases on indie labels, and a year spent touring and playing BritainÆs expansive festival circuit, Marina recorded her debut album, FAMILY JEWELS, in late 2009. - HMV

New single from one of the hottest tips of 2010. Recently featured in the BBC's Sound of 2010 list. The highly anticipated debut album is released in February. - HMV
