Glee go away from #1.

Great for Alex she needs to stay Top 40, I am not sure why she is back in Europe this week she needs to be starting on the next video.Leona fans need to buy in bulk next week she has to get into the Top 20.

I think leona will flop big time! Shame for such a voice.

The album chart is going to change so much tomorrow, I never expected PSB live album that high, I can see it falling though after the Brits

 

They are on the Brits though, they played a gig in someone's front room for a Brits competition :lol: I think it will stay top 20 at least :)

The entire top 6 was the same as the previous week.

I'm sorry to sound repetitive but i admire Leona for sticking with the music she's comfortable with. Everyone expects GaGa music from everyone but if someone did come out with that, people would be saying "she's copying/ripping off Gaga". And, as i've said, Alicia doesn't get ripped to pieces on here cos she does the same old music.

 

Leona stands out in the music industry cos she isn't a GaGa/Katy/Ke$ha/Alexandra. She's someone who has her own mind and will go in the direction she's comfortable in even if it's not what the british public are into in general.

Anyway, I assume the 2 positions we don't know in the top 10 are:

I think i'm right in saying the label wanted I Got You/Don't Let Me Down but Simon AND Leona wanted Happy. Actually, i think Simon wanted DLMD as well before it leaked.

 

I don't know anything about the SCYHO situation, i'm afraid. Good choice though as it promoted the album.

 

Leona chooses her artistic direction. She picked the album title, the overall sound of the album, co-wrote the majority of tracks (this is going to provoke cynicism i know :P) etc. She is definitely not Simon's puppet contrary to popular belief :D

The reason why Alicia doesn't get ripped to pieces because she does NOT come from the reality TV show. In Britian, Leona will always be remembered as the winner of XF. If Leona had started like Alicia for example, she would be much more respected imo.

I do respect Alicia since she's a great artist but there is a double standard here. I don't know whether it's cos Leona has had more hype in the UK and overwhelming commercial success or indeed whether it's cos she didn't break through the industry the traditional way. Anyway, each to their own i guess. Everybody likes different things but i wish people would keep their views the same for everything. The truth is if you find one of these artists boring or samey, you should really find the other one the same imo.

 

Anyway, i get the feeling people don't like the Leona talk :unsure: Mr Blobby tomorrow then :kink:
