It was #15 combined when I checked this morning (when the versions were @ #37 and #38), but:-

• JLS @ #15, #71, #264, #296 would be back ahead;
• Jay Sean @ #16 and #202 may be ahead;
• Marina @ #20 and #35 would be ahead combined; and
• Glee Cast (DSB) @ #25 and #58 would be ahead.

Not sure about Lady GaGa's Bad Romance as well.

 

So that (exc. GaGa) would put IGY at #18 or #19 combined (dependant on how big pop bars are for Jay Sean's 2nd version); inc. GaGa would put IGY @ #19 or #20 combined.

He appeals to those who deserted Chris Brown and probably majority of Ne-Yo's fanbase too. So it's hardly surprising he's such a big hit. Probably also a few JLS fans, seeing as they worked with J.R Rotem (?) and stuff.

I don't think he's established enough to have a "fanbase" as such yet, but you need more than a fanbase to get a real hit single anyway. I'm not overly keen on him but I have to admit this is a catchy tune. The last one was irritating.

It's basically where the popular anthemic songs or big hits that have been out a while are played out everywhere at the weekend and they're all downloaded more, usually pushing newer stuff down.

i shouldnt have opened my mouth, you never know though derulo took until monday to get to the top 10 so he has to sell more yet to catch up!!derulos song doesnt deserve no1,whatch say was much better!!
