lol I swear this was the last time I'm asking about dates...people takes unnecessary stuff too serious.

Buzzjack song contest is a hobby, and hobbies are hardly dead aspects of life!?

This contest is more enriching in several ways for some of us. (musical discoveries, discussion, the whole contest part etc.) Show some respect yeah? We were just wondering about some dates :)

Last night Casey told me he'd open reservation next week, or something, but I'm not sure we considered the banlist thing. Anyway, I wouldn't push him too much, he's the type to put it off longer the more you guys push. ;)

Yeah, I was wondering about the Banlist which Theo brought to my attention earlier today. Are the people from last month still banned as obviously it's still quite a while until Diana Vickers 'Once' will get proper airplay etc. as it's not out till the end of April?

 

I'm ever so sorry folks, but my coursework comes before me deciding on dates for a fun game on the internet, I know this might be a shock, but it's the way I roll. Plus I quite like having a break between each contest anyways. I'll let you know sometime this week about date date dates. I can officially announce though, it will happen in March! :D

So are we getting a spin off or we just having a month break? I could do with a month break TBH, gives me time to find a proper entry I love and will smash BJSC :kink:

 

Oh and I definately see Casey and Aaron's points. Maybe we could roll the banlists over for an extra month and then add another couple of tracks, next contest or whatever? :unsure: I honestly can't think of any song that's recently leaked that needs banning though tbh... except maybe one or two... (Not gonna say what as I want to know whether people agree when they nominate :P)

Not moaning. ASKING. Christ I swear some of you are rude for no reason at all!

 

We were just asking politely, and we would settle for a (polite) answer in return. But some of you can be so f***ing intolerant and disrespectful when you say we have no lives, bitching about us moaning and having no patience - - all that for a simple question.

 

Yes some of us are impatient and eager to start off a new contest, hence the questions - but that doesn't give you the right to talk back like that. We don't mean anything negative about it, but apparently you do. I've seen these negative reactions come before too, and imo they are completely unnecessary. There are better ways to 'deal with it'.

Um how is asking for dates mean we want constant BJSC? :mellow:

 

There's a difference between politely asking when the next contest will start and moaning every second about "Why won't it start!?"

 

I really don't see how it's necessary for people to start jumping down peoples throats :/

I think the main reason they're responding in this way is because the questions about when the next contest will start are both pretty constant and also pretty soon given the last contest has only JUST finished. We haven't had the dates announced straight after the contest prior for a good few contests now...

And yeah Casey, Easter weekend would be perfect - does anybody even celebrate Easter properly anymore? :lol: Let alone to the extent where you wouldn't be able to make it online - and plus, it could always be read afterwards...

The banlist thing rolling over until the next month sounds like an ideal solution ^_^

 

Oh, and on the matter of the dates, those of you who find it 'annoying' to keep checking for the reservation thread would probably have a lot of your time saved if you remembered that the banlist comes first :P
