Well I'm getting my passport ready and packing off.

Firstly, that doesn't make sense.

Secondly, did I ever say I'd like it to be #1? No. I simply said that I don't mind the song. I'd much rather 'Rude Boy' was #1 over Bieber or Tinie (as I'm sure you would too) but that isn't looking likely atm. Out of 'Baby' and 'Pass Out', I'd much rather 'Baby' was at #1.

 

And anyway, why would my opinion on a song (or where it charts) make you want to move countries or whatever? Does my opinion matter to you that much?! :lol:

Pleasently surprised Chiddy Bang are still #14! :o I thought they'd be mid-20's by now tbh!

'Baby' just has god awful lyrics. I guess it's kind of catchy, but ultimately just a generic RnB song, and although generic can be okay sometimes, it's just blah in this case. I think having Ludacris on it makes it pretty cringeworthy too to be honest. Oh and his vocals REALLY grate on me.

 

The charts in general atm are pretty dire though. :( Terrible year for new music so far ...

Poor parachute keeps getting knocked down everytime it starts to get somewhere! Last week it was the Wiley and Boyzone, week before it was the Sugababes and Jason and now Gabriella and Justin.

 

 

I can't believe how well On A Mission's doing :o I expected low top 20 at best! I thought the interest had gone and people would perceive her as a one hit wonder, but quite clearly not :o Had she come back with Sweet About Me 2.0 she would have flopped I think, I guess her success is testament to rejuvinating her sound for album number two!

Very pleased for Cilmi. It makes up for the mega-floppage of Goldfrapp and General Fiasco.

I'm also bored of 'Parachute' now. It's the only other bearable song on Cheryl's album but it wears thin after a while.
