And poor Rihanna totally lost it now, no chance of getting any higher with Lady GaGa around.

I reckon Rude Boy will be number 1 come sunday afternoon, it climbed massively after last weekend and this time I reckon Ri will do it.

Parachute probably won't even go Top 10 next week with Gaga, BEP, etc.

 

Hopefully it'll peak higher than #10 whenever she does finally perform it somewhere, the more she cancels and puts stuff off the more it's hyped up. Radio 1 were plugging her in the live lounge for weeks every few minutes as it was :\

The Telephone video is EPIC to the MAX! Never before have i respected GaGa so much. Beyonce deserves a lot of credit too. A great deal of hype is revolving around her too. I hope Gaga does a mini-movie on one single from each album in the future.

 

It did say "to be continued..." after all.

 

Well it's clear who's going to wipe the VMA's this year. :P

The only downside to Gaga being amazing is that there's going to be a point where she's either not going to be able to top herself in terms of creativity and the quality of her music videos will have to constantly be living up to the hype. She's raised the bar too high for herself. Part 3 will have to be much better than Telephone to be deemed a success, imo. Then what happens? New album, new single? How long is she planning on staying in the music buisness? One day she's going to let everyone down and have an "average" video and there'll be tons of backlash for it.

BEPs with RTB are still a few bars ahead of Telephone but watch out the rise tomorrow!

I hope 'Rock That Body' goes to #1, it's one of the best 'electro' songs I've heard this year. 'Telephone' is a great pop song, but it shouldn't do well just because of the video..

I agree about Rock That Body. It's an absolutely phenomenal song, and it would be so amazing if the BEPs got 4 consecutive number-ones. Imma Be has just been number one in the USA, so I've got hope for Rock That Body (although I think Imma Be is a better song, I hear it everywhere during the day, and it hasn't even got into the top 100 yet)!

 

The video is amazing too. I watched it for the first time today, and I was stunned. Especially the middle bit, when they merge Imma Be and Rock That Body! I was like "!!!!!".

 

I love Telephone too. I haven't watched the video yet though.

 

Rock That Body and Telephone would be the best top 2 in ages, but their albums have (deservedly) sold so much, so I'm not confident that this will ever happen in the next few weeks.
