woho cheryl pulled in the numbers :)

It did help that Corrie had finished then.

Parachute really needs to outpeak that dreadful 3 Words song.

I don't think it will now, it seems to have started a sales increase when coming to the end of the retail week (7pm Sat). So it might not be top5 tomorrow, and then it will inevitably start losing sales from tomorrow anyway with new releases coming out.

Justin Bieber has fallen about 1 nothingth of a bar since Cheryl overtook Inna to #5 - it's not much, but it's a sign he's gonna miss the #1 at least for today.
WOO! Cheryl top 5 is brilliant. I hope sales were close this week, I would love to see this top 5 tomorrow in the charts
Parachute won't out peak 3 words, but it's on course to out sell it. 3 words has sold 148k by the end of its release week, Parachute's total last week was on 140k I believe and will easily do 20-30k this week and similar amount next week with the much hyped Live Lounge (they seemed to be playing the ad after every song on R1 this afternoon!). If she goes back on Ross soon it'll also give it another boost
Combined pop bars for the top 10 (Sorry it's a mess!)

Thanks for this. Telephone has quite a good lead. Hopefully it'll keep increasing

Combined Telephone is miles away from Pass Out. Hopefully Telephone is number 1 officially.

The gap was only just over 600 yesterday, it will have easily overcome that by now

Nothing really strong coming out this week. Lady GaGa should easily hold on for another week or 2, lets hope more acts remain longer at the top. We need a 4 weeker, nothing since The Fear from Lily Allen.

Which was basically by default anyway seeing as it didn't finish 2009 in the top ten end of year chart...I only appreciate long running #1's if they've held up every week against immensely strong competition, i.e. Cher's Believe in the closing weeks of 1998 - she held off so many big tunes from big artists! Staying at #1 for ages because bugger all else is out isn't that amazing an achievement...

I don't really want songs at number one for ages. I quite liked it last year when there was a different number one each week.

So if Telephone does go to #1, GaGa gets her 4th number one (in 14 months :o) and Beyonce gets her 5th solo number one (7th w/ DC but that stat shouldn't really be included)

I wonder if 'My Heart Will Go On' will get a small boost after Titanic was shown on Channel 4 tonight. *shamelessly has it on repeat* :kink:

EDIT: Currently at #700 & #743 don't know if that is because of tonight, but if it isn't, it just goes to show how popular this song is

There are far too many songs that should gone now that've been around for ages <_< Flozee in particular needs to get to get out of the top 10. Brits were donkeys years old now. :(

My Heart Will Go On  to #650 & #660 :D

classic song  the film makes me cry everytime i watch it
