And wtf is this Sarah Phillips tomfoolery that's ahead of Jonsi? -_-

 

It's a song she's recorded in tribute of her mother who died from Cervical Cancer. Paolo Nutini cover. Quite nice actually :)

What I meant was why it's so high in the chart.

I think In The House flopped because William Adams didn't use his well known stage name will.i.am opposed to his other name Zuper whatever it's all. :lol:

Well, looks like the two highest new entries this week will be Usher and Sarah Phillips. :huh:

 

I certainly wouldn't have expected that a couple of days ago. I haven't heard either song (or even heard of Sarah Phillips before now), and I thought Usher was resigned to epic failing this era :lol:

Adam in the top 250! Hope it goes top 20 near proper release date! :D

'OMG' is the only decent song on Usher's new album. Well it's the only song that had a bit of an impact on me. Deserves to do well. Another song in a matter of weeks that does well without radio support whilst songs that get playlisted don't do AS well...

 

That Sarah Phillips song (I've just youtubed) is very nice. Very moving too.

I guess the Glee songs were overall quite weak performances this week

 

Next week however, be prepared for difference- a season finale, including the performance of MLWSWY and most other popular songs like DSB, Along with what could be a chart battle with Plan B and Scouting For Girls- should be quite an exciting week :)

Also don't forget Mercedes' version of '(And I Am Telling You) I'm Not Going' :wub: I think that could be pretty big. Especially seeing as it was performed on shows like Britains got Talent and XFactor etc...

Mercedes has such a great voice it is epic, I am afraid to say no one who has appeared on BGT or the X-factor and performed I am Telling You got anywhere close to how well she sung it.I wonder if she has had a any vocal training.Adam Lambert also has a great voice but For Your Entertainment is underwhelming.Good for Usher his career seems to have stalled in the US though.

Not season finale as such. The finale to part 1 of Series 1. Series one continues in April :) I think they took a 4 month break, so the UK could catch up. So there are plenty more Glee songs to come. I know you're all as desperate for them as I am :kink: The next Glee set of songs are Madonna specials. LOL. That's gonna please a couple of people :heehee:

It was alright but it's been done a thousand times before and far better. I'm not sure why Radio 1 were hyping it up so massively like it was some innovative masterpiece that was 'going to be huge' -_-
