I used to love this, I was 7 at the time and I heard this everywhere- it just reminds me of my childhood, thats why its one of my all-time favourites

I also loved Lou Bega (and Bob the Builders version  ) and DJ Otzi, ah! I loved the late 90s/early 00s in music

how could I forget Hey Baby! That was everywhere here too. Even Eiffel 65's followup was big lol. "Back In My Life" by Alice DJ was also huge, definitely her biggest hit here, but not really a happy anthem

I know, so many memoires, We're Going To Ibiza holds the most childhood memoires for me. Or, as I fondly remember it as, We're Going To Eat Some Pizza

These chart questions are pathetic to say the least!

I can see this climbing again next week, as it was sang in Harry Hills TV Burp by the Knitted characters as a finale- I still like this, but I didnt think it would last this long

What's this doing back in the top 40? :o

I assume it'll be Addicted to Bass 2010 or w/e.

Leona Lewis 'Happy'/'I Got You' (The latter I'd understand the omission) & Britney Spears '3' being the most obvious/notable exclusions. (Which was still a big enough hit to get an inclusion.) There's TWO Rihanna tracks on this now, and two versions of the same song! Journey could have been left off!

'Bad Boys' never got included either, on any version. -_-

Don't Stop Believin' back up due to the TV Burp effect (the song was sung by an assortment of knitted characters)

I doubt that's why, as this section was only last night at around 7:25pm, so I don't think it will have had a big impact on this weeks chart.

Funny how Portugal is on the other side of Europe and we got hits from everywhere. Mostly because our #1 national station was eurodance and europop obsessed that they dictacted pretty much all the hits over here, and spreaded them over to other national and regional stations. Unfortunately it ended in summer 2003 and was replaced with an R&B station, that now is pretty much like Kiss/Galaxy.

It's amazing TBH.

My country is tiny but still the door is open for all genres (lately Romanian dance music is ruling our radios, clubs etc etc)

'Gave It All Away' will more than likely climb next week. Seeing as their "tribute" show is on tonight, after DOI semi's

I expect it will help the album more than the single. Really looking forward to it actually, I'm an embarrassingly big fan :drama:

Why was it disqualified?

The UK had (and probably still has) rules about tracks on CD's. It cant exceed a certain time limit, I think they broke that rule.

DON'T LIE?! Me and my mates used to sing that ALL the time. Exact words and everything LOL! I thought we were "cool" and invented it ourselves! Now that's 10+ years of me believing we actually did, gone down the drain :snif:
Don't read twitter. Polydor records just tweeted the chart results!

Here it takes longer since we're further apart, but Stereo Love is #1 hit here, and Inna is also becoming more and more popular :)

Those questions are so easy peasy, even a 14 year old would know them.

Indeed, espeically not with that mood killing video set at the funeral :drama: I liked it *almost* as much as Better Off Alone though, although it was incredibly different - both songs are in my top ten of all time - it sounds like I say this about every song but it's generally dominated by dance from 1999/2000

oh yes! the Vengaboys!

More guilty pleasures

It's not so much that I dislike Boyzone, but I hate the way they're milking his death. I mean, they could've had a video for Gave It All Away, simple. But, they had a video of them crying over his death, and the way they seem to be using his death to their advantage really does bug me.

And, as for tonight, are they not singing like 2 songs with Westlife?
