Posted March 27, 201015 yr Yep, you know it. The 'Milkshake' girl is back with a stomper of a tune. Kelis is one of the few artists who can her music different and infectous and doesn't sound mainstream. Everytime I hear Acapella I love it more and more. Produced by the dance legend David Guetta. It released as a digital download on April 26th and as a CD single on May 10th. Her album Flesh Tones is released a week after. U8D9xCBcfzw What do you think of the song? Where do you think the song will peak? I think this should peak in the top 10. The song is just epic. The end of the song is just amazing Edited March 30, 201015 yr by Tacticz
March 27, 201015 yr Absouletly amazing song and the video snippet looks outstanding. Really want to see the whole thing
March 27, 201015 yr Hate it. And WTF is that awful picture as the background of the video  My lord do I hope this flops. But I'm going to say Top 20.
March 27, 201015 yr Despite the Radio 1 support I dont really see how this will catch on. It's actually a very good song (not my favourite from Kelis by any means but still..) but I feel its a strange song to launch an album with, especially having been gone for a good 3 years.
March 27, 201015 yr I'm with Mr Lovett with his thoughts on the song. But I can see this being quite big. Not as big as WLTO or SC, but it'll be big unfortunately. I went for top 10 as a safe bet though. It's one of those where it'll do extremely well or completely flops on it's ass I think.
March 28, 201015 yr I think this is going to do really well, it sounds very current and it's great how Kelis manages to re-invent herself and constantly stand out as an innovative artist. The chorus is incredible! An amazing club tune!

The chorus is incredible! An amazing club tune! I agree - this is one urban/dance track I wouldn't mind seeing at #1!
March 28, 201015 yr I'd say top 20, as Kelis isn't popular anymore... I love this though, would love to see at least Milkshake/Trick Me type sucsess
March 28, 201015 yr It's alright but it doesn't really go anywhr. i would guess low top ten, but i cant really be too sure until I've seen the video :)
March 28, 201015 yr The UK singles charts are so unpredictable it's difficult to know what's going to be popular. Personally, this isn't anywhere near as strong as the blissful 'Lil Star' from 2007 featuring Cee-Lo. 'Acapella' will either be a massive hit that's top 10 for about two months. Or it'll be a reasonably big hit (low top 10 but tails off quite quickly) or it'll be a complete flop et la 'Bossy'.
March 28, 201015 yr I think with decent promotion, perhaps just inside top 10 But I wouldn't be surprised to see it lodged in the top 20. It's a great tune though, and a good comeback song for Kelis
March 29, 201015 yr As much as I love this song I don't see it charting very high. I think it'll get top 30, I'd love for it to get higher though.
