Anyone else think "All Night Long" has a "We Break The Dawn" vibe to it?

I thought that the first time I heard it months ago. We Break The Dawn is one of my favourite songs of the decade

Top 5 is not good enough for ANL it has to go all the way to the Top spot or Kelis and Acapella that week.I hope Alex gets to do really good tv promo with a great routine, it is such a good tune.

I really think the number 1 that week will be between Kelis and Aggro Santos. Top 5 would be great for the third single from a well selling album :D

I love We Break The Dawn, ill agree with you on that.

Are you sure ANL up to 40 with no Radio 1 support can that be possible. How is Sabrina doing, is she still doing GMTV tomorrow morning.

Sabrina is falling now in he low 160's. YES she's still doing GMTV tomorrow Tune in at 7:40am

Dirty Picture is climbing well. I really love the song. Do people reckon it'll benefit from people buying both Ke$ha's and Taio Cruz's versions? Or will most people buy just one of the versions, as they're quite similar?

All Night Long should go top 10, but it'll suffer from 3rd single-syndrome. I mean, it's no "Meet Me Halfway", so I can't imagine it insanely popular and selling 100,000 in one week, and getting into the year-end top 10, but it should still do well.

I shall set my alarm for tomorrow morning! if she's lucky she might just might get top 100, i wish it was top 10 thooo :/

Meet Me Halfway only did as well as it did cos of two sole things:

I deduce from this, that on tomorrows official mids, Delirious will be replaced in the top 40 by Skepta (who are at 41 in the mids today).

And the fact it was a good song?

And the fact it was a good song?

That too but it wouldn't have done nearly as well without the epicness of the vid or even just without X Factor. It was #4 and falling before the XF appearance IIRC.

Anyway, Beyonce's Ego  to #51.

Alexandra back  to #40.

Beyonce's 'Ego' is doing surprisingly well :o for a urmm 1,000,000 single  it'll most likely outpeak 'Broken Hearted Girl' ...

In hindsight I can't believe how badly Video Phone did! It has 2 of the most hyped singers on the planet on it, was a 6th single and got heavy play on the music channels, and I think it got a CD release?? and had the version with and without Gaga. Yet this Ego remix has taken off a storm already with minor video play!

So for America, the singles have gone:

If I Were A Boy

Single Ladies

Halo

Diva

Broken-Hearted Girl

Ego

Sweet Dreams

Video Phone

Ego remix feat. Kanye West

Tbh, however popular and good Ego is, it doesn't deserve to outpeak Broken-Hearted Girl. I have fond memories of that song  Last June, walking around town with it playing in my ears  But then bad memories i.e it staying at #37-#41 on iTunes forever.

Ego by its self never was a single.

LOL Beyonce is reminding me of the GGGB Era  non-stop single releases :kink: although GGGB did better on a worldwide scale :P
Are you sure?

Billboard magazine regards it as a single according to that page.

im sure the kanye remix was released as a single over there and not the original. The only reason we're getting it is because they wouldn't have to spend any new money on the release. I doubt there will be a physical.

That makes sense. There is a video without Kanye West too but it's clearly edited into the video. I doubt they would release the same single twice but it would be quite funny to imagine considering it would have been her 9th single over there!

Ego WAS released as a single in America before the Kanye version even came about. It was released in June 2009 and peaked at #39.

Broken-Hearted Girl was never released over there though.
