How are you so sure Freeze? :P

I think Skall have the biggest chance for the win :)

I just explained :P

Five people in this thread thinks Skall will win, but that's the only argument you guys have. I don't like to be alone :(

It's probably my favourite ever entry of yours too :o The Golden Filter are love  Have you listened to Voluspa yet?

Yes, its excellent - very creepy and atmospheric.

PRoJ entry was a nice discovery for me ...thanks.

Glad you like it Addy - I adore them now! Try out a few more of their tracks like Solid Gold and Favourite Things if Hide Me does it for you ^_^

What on earth are you basing this on? I agree it has a good flewency to it, and a somewhat but quite catchy rythm, almost sound of arrows like, but the song is too long and therefore too slow to pass on a major appeal with the pop voters. And you definitely need points from them to win the whole thing! Besides, there has been more hype about Vita and Roll Deep (including Diana and Robyn). Though I guess if it is the "indie" favorite it could get higher than both Vita and Roll Deep as those votes will even each other out. Top 10, probably, but winning? If you're also trying to look at the fact that Delphic won and that this contest is trying to follow that pattern of sound somehow, I'd say Stanfour has a greater appeal of/in sound than Lo-Fi-Fnk. Skall won't win this, no way..

Too long doesn't mean too slow :P It remains quite up-tempo throughout the whole thing...plus, Delphic was only twenty seconds shorter :P

I reckon Vita will do well but won't win on the basis that it doesn't bring THAT much more to the table than Good Girls Go Bad did, which came 4th. Roll Deep might get a backlash as it's about to be a huge chart smash within the next couple of weeks and also has rap on it...

I don't think Stanfour has a greater appeal than Lo-Fi-Fnk. It's more OneRepublic than Delphic! Lo-Fi-Fnk might not win, but it's definitely going top five and is one of the strongest contenders for the top three/win.

I knew I could count on you :( :cheer:

I agree with everything but the top three part. Subjectivness ftw..

But I tell ya, Skall won't win! And if he doesn't win I want money for it :( Or at least a statement from Rontvia, Nonsuch and Kopecka saying they were wrong and that Freeze was right <_<

I'm not saying he's guaranteed to win! I am, however, very confident that Skall will go top three. I will give a statement of admission if they don't :smoke:

I do rather love how everyone seems to have jumped on the Skall-to-win bandwagon after I placed them second highest on my odds. I seem to have created a snowball effect. ^_^

Not at all. I would have done so earlier (and actually had them as FAVOURITES) had I had the time to place odds ;o

Skall's entry is incredibly uplifting and charming Freeze, I definitely see it winning - it will appeal to both indie and pop voters in my opinion. Not really getting the hype for the Stanfour song, I FAR preferred In Your Arms, this song's nothing special for me sadly.

Admittedly, I gave it decent odds on first listen but having seen you placing it 2nd, I gave it another listen and I completely saw where you were coming from placing it so high. It ticks all of the boxes to do well in modern day BJSC. It's the sort of song I might have considered sending had I actually heard it before the contest - indie but definitely pop enough for me to enjoy it. And Swedish obviously.

Still, if we're going to have the usual 'on the release schedule, getting some promotion but not exactly cheap' winner, then Hendinia will run away with this contest. I suppose this is ultimately more likely seeing as it's happened for the last 6 contests  Skall vs. Hendina anyway.

I'm with Freeze and James on this.

But what do i know, i thought every winner we've had since the Dolly Rockers was utter $h!te and i most certainly through i would qualify for XXII and XXV -_-

Random.org has been banned within Ashton.

Don't get me wrong, I do like Skall's track but I think there's much better too and I can't see it appealing to a fair few..
Good to know I'm not alone anymore ^_^

How are you so sure Jerick? :P

How are you so sure Jerick? :P

He says he thinks they have the biggest chance, he doesn't say he's SURE :P
