April 4, 201015 yr My comments on the Top 7 (where I last left off): 01 Kelly Clarkson (9.32) AMAZING! Since I saw her live in February, she has overtaken Britney to become my most favourite artist EVER! Admittedly I didn't like her 'Thankful' era, but luckily she was given the absoloutely amazing 'Since U Been Gone' and things turned around, drastically. 'Breakaway' is my all time favourite album. Glad she managed to beat the heavyweights Leona and Girls Aloud! 02 Leona Lewis (8.80) Definately my second favourite and a very deserving number 2 position 03 Girls Aloud (8.60) Awesome girl group. Although I'm very glad they weren't number 1 (as I would have predicted!) 04 Alexandra Burke (8.02) Has a hell of alot of potential, JLs maybe more successful "sales" wise, but she'll last longer. 05 Will Young (8.00) ERGH! He's had Two or Three amazing songs. All the rest are awful 06 Liberty X (7.54) Liberty X were a good group. I hate 'Just A Little' now though, so overplayed and bleh. 'Song 4 Lovers' remains an underrated classic! 07 Lemar (7.12) Earlier i said I wanted Shayne to be top male, I now retract that statement and apply it to Lemar. His material has always been very good (bar the meh 'Dance With U'. Very deserving of a top 10 position :) Great results in the end in all honesty. April 5, 201015 yr Alexandra being so high is faintly ridiculous. Yeah she was fine on the X Factor, but other than that she's simply got one rather mediocre album behind her. I'd have certainly placed her below the likes of Will Young and even Lemar.
April 5, 201015 yr Lemar has done quite well for himself and has lasted a long time, shame his current greatest hits album and his last studio album didnt do so well but he has the potential to be a good seller aswell.Hopefully a good strong song will get album sales going again.
April 5, 201015 yr Great top 3 although I would have swapped Leona and GA around. Alexandra shouldnt have been so high imo even though I really like her, Will Young is probably deserving of the top 5 position. Liberty X were a brilliant band imo, some great singles! shame 'X' didn't do so well.
April 5, 201015 yr Thanks for dooing the list, really good effort.Glad the best singers placed so high.Kelly Clarkson has far better songs than GA her singing voice alone is immense.Pleased for Alex Overcome is a really good debut album.
