April 17, 201015 yr He was good - but talk about overrating something. I agree with Piers, we've seen it all before - please, dear god, can we have a winner other than dancers, or singers if that's at all possible - otherwise we may aswell turn the show into Strictly Come Talent. Edit: Oh god, Louis. :drama: Edited April 17, 201015 yr by Robot
April 17, 201015 yr I actually liked Louis in this - although I cannot stand him generally <_> That dog was great though!
April 17, 201015 yr I'd love to see a really well polished Comedy Act do well or even win, we've had too many successful Dancers/Singers on BGT. Stavros Flatley should have done better. They were comfortably 4th last year behind an admittedly talented (but only there cos he had a sob story) musician, a hype machine and the best dance act I've seen in a long time.
April 17, 201015 yr Oh, and I see they have brought back the 'best acts before the break' thing again.
April 17, 201015 yr SHOCKER. I was correct - that has got to be a fix, surely. I don't buy it at all, sorry, I just don't buy that AT ALL. Next prediction: He'll come back, perform again, get 3 YES's - and Simon will tell him that was one of the best things he's seen, and he's glad he came back - and Amanda will cry - and he'll get a standing ovation. And it will be the last act on tonight!
April 17, 201015 yr This show is way too predictable and set up. :( It's good light entertainment for when you're bored though - ITV's speciality these days.
April 17, 201015 yr Good start- the best probably the backwards dancer- although I'd rather a dancer not win this year the young girl and the drummer were both really good- although the drummers audition was SO scripted-and the sailor  - he has to make the finals!
April 17, 201015 yr Chloe, Keiron, Tobias and the woman and her dog were all good tonight, but Tobias was too much like Diversity imo
April 17, 201015 yr I know, we've only seen a few auditions so far, but I'd really like the girl singer, and the woman with her dog to make the final. The dancer to make the semi-finals. The drummer...well, I'm not really into drumming, so I dunno really
April 17, 201015 yr I actually love Louis as a judge. Far better than the vile Piers Morgan! :( From tonight's show I loved Tobias and that was it really. Nothing we haven't seen before tbh!
April 18, 201015 yr I really liked Louis as a judge, I wanted him to stay for a bit longer but instead Simon kicked him off! I loved the Dog act tonight, that was easily my favourite.
April 18, 201015 yr And it will be the last act on tonight! Then he'll get to the live shows.....
April 18, 201015 yr As it's related to BGT. Did anyone hear about last year finalist. Hollie Steel who got sent horrific and dirty messages since BGT. :puke2: Yes. She got hate mail from people who thought she shouldn't have been given a second chance. Some of it was sexual too. The rules are tighter this year and no-one gets a second chance no matter how much they cry and plead. Her mother's also launched in to a furious tirade against Simon as he never got in touch to offer her a contract. So she's taken unpaid leave from her NHS job and they're financing a single and album themselves. Apparently they're not without a bit of money. Talk about a pushy mother. From DS. "As soon as the show has finished you don't hear a word from them ever again," she said. "The 2008 finalists - including Faryl Smith, who's a similar artist to Hollie - did very, very well from it. They got record deals and things like that. Hollie didn't get anything. We believed Hollie's talent was good enough to get some sort of recognition but nobody came forward." Quote: "I feel let down because I think Hollie has a really beautiful talent," she added. "I'm a mum and now I'm a bloody record producer and manager. It's ridiculous."  She was nowhere near as good as Faryl Smith. Edited April 18, 201015 yr by Victor Meldrew
