N-Dubz were probably talking about someone who got eliminated in like round 3, and THAT would be why they don't want to name names, I mean when have they ever been afraid of upsetting people?

I don't think N-Dubz are a big fan of the X Factor. I remember on that crazy week last year, where there was Meet Me Halfway and Happy were the top 2, I think their song (I Need You?) only peaked at number 5, and Tulisa was saying in an interview that she thought it could've gone number 1 if it wasn't for the X Factor. They seemed quite annoyed about it. The song sold well that week though.

 

EDIT: I just checked, and indeed, they might've been #1 if it weren't for the X Factor. The top 4 were Meet Me Halfway, Happy, Everybody in Love and Fight For This Love. So they did have a point, but I don't hink they'd've had a chance against Meet Me Halfway, even without the X Factor.

 

Perhaps that's where their dislike for the X Factor came from?

^ yeah i remember that, ergh ndubz just think they are more successful and better then they actually are, dont like them at all and not good role models. just a no no to them tbh.

BEP's jumped to #1, Leona debuted at #2, JLS and Cheryl were #3 + 4, N-Dubz debuted at #5, Ke$ha was #6 with TiK ToK then Britney debuted #7, Sugababes debuted #8 and then Jay Sean/Alexandra were #9 + 10. I think sales were pretty high that week. So yeah, N-Dubz would have been #1 without X-Factor :P.

Well, I reckon, without X Factor, it would've gone. I doubt Cheryl would've gone solo if she wasn't on the X Factor, and Leona and JLS wouldn't have existed. I think the Black Eyed Peas would've been number one anyway. They were #3 the previous week (although they would've been #1 that week without the X Factor too), and they were still increasing sales, before they performed.

To be fair though, they must've known ages before that they'd never get #1. There was just too much competition. I saw an interview on digital spy though, saying that they're going to try to get a couple of number ones in the summer.

I am so happy that I can finally buy, Selena, Kelis & Christina. Hope they all do really well, especially Kelis, number 1 beckons :kink:

Really hope Prof.Green doesn't do as well as everyone thinks it will do, people thought Kate Nash was going to shoot and get a massive number 1 and due to its early release last week, thats looks really impossible now so you never know. Heres hoping anyway!

Also, I know people think Selena will due really well due to the pre-orders but wasnt Alex Gardener number 1 on the pre-order chart and we all know how that went, plus Selena isn't even number 1 on pre-orders, she is number 5 so you really cant tell. Hope it gets reasonably high though as its great :wub:
