Posted April 11, 201015 yr Owl City (Fireflies guy) is back with a stomper of a tune. Gosh, I love this song it's so amazing and uplifting. This is a great summery track. It sound so good with a headset on a iPhone. This song brings out happiness. It could lift anyone's mood. I think will be a certified top 10 smash. I think this will be a huge hit this summer. :w00t: Listen to it here! :) bkoDKGCGwXQ It's released on 17th May. Edited April 12, 201015 yr by Tacticz
April 11, 201015 yr I'd like to believe it'll do well but Owl City just seems very one hit wonderish. :( Plus this is pretty poor compared to Saltwater Room or Vanilla Twilight. Top 30 i'd say.
April 11, 201015 yr Great!- love the music in this  Hope it goes top 3, I hope hes not a one hit wonder although he may be heading that way- I predict top 10 Edited April 11, 201015 yr by chart wizard
April 11, 201015 yr Top 10 fairly easy I'd say, but at least top 15. I'd actually say it's the second best song on the album, glad we've got this instead of Vanilla Twilight.
April 11, 201015 yr Top 10, 7 or 8 I'd say, it's one of the best on the album, so a great choice! Edited April 11, 201015 yr by Gagafan Gomez
April 11, 201015 yr Don't think it will be massive imo, more like a 09/10 hit and will have a similar chart run to Rock That Body.
April 11, 201015 yr I hope we get a music video for it, Vanilla Twilight already has one. I think this will peak #10-#20 and for the record, I think Vanilla Twilight would peak #7-15
April 11, 201015 yr Technically it's a re-release as it was first released on iTunes(UK) last November with a Kenny Hayes remix. It should, depending on airplay, make the top20 and give Ocean Eyes a boost.
April 12, 201015 yr Surely 'Vanilla Twilight' was the more obvious/sensible choice? I think this will be one of those follow-ups to a #1 that misses the top 40 like Taio's 'No Other One' and Cascada's 'Dangerous'. He's a total one hit wonder.
April 12, 201015 yr I love his up-lifting style of music and the bluesy synth sound but he comes across as one of those artists that aren't commercial enough yet had one commercial hit. I went for top 20. But more precisely - #11. It screams #11 for some reason. Has it got radio support?
April 12, 201015 yr It does sound like something from an old Sonic The Hedgehog game. Whenever I hear the start I can just imagine playing it on the old Megadrive :D I would of preferred Vanilla Twilight instead of this.
April 12, 201015 yr Fireflies has been one of the best songs so far this year (I believe it will still be in November! :) ). BUT there is really no comparison between the 2... It is a typical light holiday song, nothing special. It always depends on the competition. Could end up top30 on the back of fireflies (which will propably chart higher the same week), but it could also flop. I don't see a single reason this song could do well really...
