April 21, 201015 yr its national radio play that counts tho - commercial radio varies over the regions - if radio 1 play a song between 4-6pm the audience that hears it is around 10-12million - whereas alexandra might be played at 4am when 4 people only hear it.thats why airplay isn't dictated by amount of plays but by audience. I think that's a bit of an exaggeration. :D But I see your point. However, I think commercial stations get more listeners in total than Radio 1. Edited April 21, 201015 yr by Eric_Blob
April 21, 201015 yr I am glad Kylies album release date has randomly been put in the thread title because i wouldn't have known she had an album comin out otherwise :P Edited April 21, 201015 yr by andyboiuk
April 21, 201015 yr I see some sites advertising a signed poster with Diana Vickers single. Does anyone know if this poster version is limited to certain stores (as I'm sure I've seen a version in the shops without the poster), and are they actually each individually signed by her, or just the same signature copied? Thanks in advance :D
April 21, 201015 yr Glee is taking Over :P 2 entries in the top 40 in both charts - wow, that is some mighty takeover there.
April 22, 201015 yr I've only just realised Kylie's album release date appearing in the thread title. Kinda obvious who the culprit was. ^_^ I hope ANL hangs on but definitely won't. It's #40 on iTunes and falling. :( Hopefully the video will premiere today.

April 22, 201015 yr Author Gerry & The Pacemakers should have charted if its top 15 on iTunes, my guess its only available on iTunes and not on other download sites, unless we have some data missing, but by the looks of things the chart looks about right. Now we have 4 new entries (Diana, Chimpee, Glee X 2) and 3 re-entries (Tina, 3OH!3, Plan B ), if Gerry & The Pacemakers charts tomorrow it be 4 re-entries, which could push Journey out of the top 40
April 22, 201015 yr Hope Tina can go top 10 - just to shake it up a bit. :D Shame Alexandra isn't top 40 but it was expected. -_- Not much going on today.
April 22, 201015 yr Are you sure the Alex B video is out tomorrow, normally she would twitter about it.I can see this turning into another long wait.Tina Turner has better songs-football fans have sure changed.I wonder if Usher will be heading back to No 1 next week.
April 22, 201015 yr Author Alexandra could still bounce back tomorrow, it will give Journey the push out of the 40, if Gerry and Alex chart inside the 40 over the weekend.

I never said it would. Dunno why i said we expect it today. I keep thinking it's Friday. Alex tweeted last week saying it's out this week. Only two days left...
April 22, 201015 yr lol at kate nash struggling to get top 5 with albums which have been out already, poor kid. Diana set for #1 then!
April 22, 201015 yr I really hope Tina Turner makes the top 10 singles on sunday, her first time in the top 10 for year. Have Ash dropped out of the top 40 albums?
April 22, 201015 yr Just noticed She Said has now overtaken This Ain't A Love Song - I guess SFG were a bit frontloaded. Stay Too Long back in the top 40 too :o Given how quickly it fell from its #9 début I wouldn't have expected it to still be charting at this point.
