Someone send me Too Much please!

Never been this excited for a Kylie album before. :lol:

 

Stand outs for me right now are 'Get Outta My Way' and 'Better Than Today'. A few of the tracks toward the end seem a bit average on first listen but overall it's a great dance album that maintain consistency throughout.

OMG, it's leaked?? I can't listen till later tho, I've got to be off to school in half an hour and won't have time later so I'll have to listen tommorow!

Best album she's done IMO. AMAZING!

Love most tracks! Especially Better than today!

It's very very strong on first listen. Better Than Today is so obviously a Nerina track, I could have picked it out as one without knowing that she'd written it, it actually sounds exactly like one of the songs on her current album.

 

I love every song up to this point :D Far better than the rollercoaster of X with it's brilliant highs brought down all to often by its numerous lows...

I'm a bit underwhelmed on first listen tbh (probably because I had REALY high expectations after 'All The Lovers')

 

There isn't much of a stand out track for me apart from 'All The Lovers'

 

Although I did really like 'Too Much' and 'Cupid Boy'

 

I can see it being a grower though..

Oh, should i ask for a link? i really wanna hear Everything is Beautiful but i want a big surprise on 5th July :(

First listen for me sold it. had it on repeat ALL last night while I was in bed and all today! Fantastic album. I had high hopes for this album and it's better than what I could have hoped for. Better Than Today has to be a single!

I'm waiting until it falls through my letterbox.

I can't wait that long. I'm still excited for my albums to come through the door and my singles. Got both versions of aphrodite and all versions of single!

First listen rate, from a non/turning into one maybe :P fan...

I'm stopping now, coz I'm tired and can't concentrate properly. So far though, I'd say the clips were quite cleverly put together, in the sense that it obviously got me interested in the album and from the first four tracks, I'm finding it quite average (bar the obvious though :P) So I'm gonna go bed and listen tomorrow before I go work as I genuinely think it's because I'm tired and can't concentrate.

It seems I was right. It was because I was tired! The other 3 songs sound so much better now to me. 'Get Outta My Way' is a huge grower! Although it's basically a watered down version of 'Wow'. :lol:

So as I predicted, nothing has come CLOSE to ATL, and although this album isn't really the "AOTY contender" I thought it would be, it's still pretty good, and the first Kylie album I've managed to listen to all the way through. Nice enough effort though and some songs feel they can grow.

I'm going to try and resist listening to the leak and wait until the CD arrives. I usually give in eventually though. :P

But yes, as I'd practically heard it already and it's a single I'll be listening to this song and 'All The Lovers' until I purchase the album. :P

I can't get over how much of a let down Get Outta My Way is. Everything from the verses to the horrible chopped-up last 20 seconds. The chorus is really thin too. The only great part of the song is the middle 8. Still, if it's a hit of Wow proportions then I can live with that so long as she makes a decent third single choice.
