Oh wow. What a surprise.

A tour with all 6 girls is nothing more than a loon fantasy. I don't see the upside for MKS or the desire for Mutya to do anything but piss herself at 4.0 slutting it up in PVC to Freederm.

I did my mourning when they ditched Keisha a couple of years ago. While it will be a loss, honestly they haven't actually released anything for years. They are irrelevant on the pop scene and they have zero credibility left.

Their material has been on diminishing returns since 2003, bar the wonderful Catfights & Spotlights. If they came back now it would be to more successes on the level of Freedom rather than About You Now or their trio of Triple Platinum albums.

The funny thing about this is that Jade is completely throwing Amelle and Heidi under the bus, as both have claimed recently that they'll be back at the end of 2014
Sugababes back as 5 piece Mutya/Keisha/Siobhan/Heidi/Amelle I think is what's happening.

:(

(while I never liked Jade Ewen in the group, I think she has the nicest personality of all the 'Babes (bar Siobhán perhaps). And what she said here once again showed that.)

This is gutting, ughh, I hope they manage to put out more material.
That Amelle interview wasn't in response to Jade's interview - it was actually taken before the "pretty much done" comment emerged.

Crown 'Talent & Media' Group (formerly known as Crown Music Management and much better known as the scum of the earth), are no longer claiming 4.0. They take full responsibility for the sales of the brand though, just don't use their name anywhere.

When your scum of the earth management no longer puts your name on their website you know something is up. Considering Crown doubled as their label I'd say it's safe to assume we won't be getting this album any time soon.

Scratch that, they still claim Heidi under the talent section of their site.

Looks like 4.0 is dead after all.

Aw. I feel so bad for Jade! I hope she can be a successful(ish) solo star! 'Punching Out' was an ANTHEM.

Queen of Real disses Jade Ewans:

Mutya snubs Sugababes reunion tour

Last week the Babes’ sixth and final member Jade said: “I would love to do a giant tour with all the Sugababes, the old line-up and the new line-up.”

But chatting after their amazing comeback gig on Thursday, Mutya told me: “That’s frigging hilarious, as it would never happen. Just no.”

Jade also revealed that she, Heidi and Amelle have pretty much called it a day and split.

Are MKS fussed? Not according to Keisha, who said: “Honestly, we don’t care.” Next question, did MKS think about calling themselves Sugababes for the comeback?

Keisha said: “If we’d wanted to we’d have gone for it. I have rights in the name, so it wouldn’t have been difficult.”

Siobhan added: “It’s about the three of us, not a brand someone can try to manipulate. We never wanted the name.” Well I’m glad we cleared that one up.

On a more positive note, MKS proved why they arguably have the best vocal harmonies around with a brilliant set of songs.

Whatever they are calling themselves now, it’s just good to have them back.

New single Flatline is out September 1.

I don't buy all the alleged quotes in that 'article'. The daily star is the least reliable 'newspaper' out there. Mutya pissing herself laughing at the suggestion I do buy though

Tonight, Jade has once again revealed in an exclusive article on Digital Spy that the Sugababes have ended.

Exclusive: Jade Ewen reveals Sugababes ended two years ago: 'I can't keep lying'

Sugababes singer Jade Ewen has confirmed to Digital Spy that the band "fizzled out" two years ago, saying: "I don't feel comfortable lying." Ewen told us last month that the group are "pretty much done", but bandmate Amelle Berrabah claimed afterwards that they will all be "getting back together at the end of next year".

Speaking at the National Lottery Stars gala tonight (September 5), Ewen insisted that Sugababes have indeed split up and continuing to claim otherwise is "unfair to fans".

"This is a tricky one because I don't feel comfortable lying, saying we're in the studio recording and we're going to bring music out next year, which seems to be the favoured line," she said. "I think it's unfair to fans and we should be honest. "The band being over is definitely not my choice. I kind of was unlucky in that I came in [to Sugababes] towards the end of the cycle when things naturally came to the end. "There was so much drama surrounding the group, I think the music just got lost. I don't like all the drama and the negativity. We kind of fizzled out about two years ago."

Ewen also accepted that the numerous lineup changes "obviously" contributed to the downfall of Sugababes. "I do think the lineup changes have obviously got to be a factor, you can't get away from it," she said. "I'd be lying if I didn't think the same when I was approached. I was like, 'Is this going to work? Are people going to accept it?' "But I know it's a brand and the music industry isn't necessarily about making music."

Further addressing her decision to join Sugababes in 2009, Ewen hinted that she had been reluctant to give up on her solo career and commented that she "was just trying to survive". "One day I'm hoping that I'll be able to put out a book and explain that whole chapter," she teased.

"I had to make a decision - a very difficult decision, because I was about making music and the creativity - when I realised that everybody was only interested in the business and that if I ever wanted to put out music I needed to take an opportunity in the short term. "I was just trying to survive. I went from Eurovision to being told I had a solo deal to being told, 'You might be dropped'. I'd already had three deals before that and been dropped and it's heartbreaking. I basically thought, 'Alright, I'm going to go for it, see where it takes me'."

Asked if she felt she fitted into Sugababes, Ewen confessed: "I did feel to a certain extent that I got lost, but at the same time it was an amazing opportunity. "It was almost like a dress rehearsal of being a popstar. But now it's time to move forward... Come on, I've done Eurovision, I've done Sugababes. If it's still hard, should I just give up?"

National Lottery Stars 2013, which celebrates the difference lottery-funded organisations make to local communities, airs Wednesday, September 11 at 10.35pm on BBC One.

And besides...www.sugababes.com is down...i think it is over :(
Heidi Range could have a flawless solo career, but she is not hungry enough for it. :(

Hiatus more often than not equals a split. It's just ridiculous that it takes two years for one of them to announce something.

I don't care about awful ugly bitches from Mutya Keisha Siobhan and their shit music.

!!!

Is it just the media making something out of nothing but do any Sugababes member actually like another? Considering how much time Mutya and Keisha spent in the Sugababes with Heidi/Amelle, not a nice word has been said about one another.

It was obvious they were doomed as soon as Sugababes 4.0 began. To me, that's when they ended. Didn't seem to be any chemistry between them and their sound was too different. I suppose there will be a final greatest hits released, which I'd like to see to be honest (hopefully one that features all their singles but I fear songs like 'Follow Me Home' would be left out).

Given they aren't affiliated with a label and not even noted scum Crown Music Management claim them on their site any more I wouldn't hold my breath for that GH.
