I can see Diana's album doing the same as 'Once' and JUST clinging on to the #1 then slipping.

When you consider the primary reason Once got to #1 and why the album is getting to #1, it's hardly surprising that Once couldn't hang on and that the album is likely to do the same.

Have you considered the fact that this person may not like Diana Vicker's music and just be expressing their opinion? We all have opinions about whether we want a certain song to be no1 or not. It doesnt mean they are doing a hate campaign..she isnt everyone's cup of tea!

How dare anyone not like Diana Vickers? That's like not liking music, beauty, talent and just not liking life.

 at Adam. Deserves better. Hopefully 'Whataya Want From Me' will ignite popularity in the album.

Entry at #20 was pretty much based on pre-orders alone.

It's up to 30-something on itunes now. It wasn't even in the itunes top 100 until sometime yesterday so who knows by Sunday?

Good news about SEB. Really like that song. I couldn't believe it looked like not making the top 40 at one point.

WOW! Go Sophie :o

Go Alexandra, Alicia, Jason GAHHH! Top 20-30 looks pretty amazing! If only most of them were Top 10!

:w00t: at Sophie.

:cheer: at Alexandra and Diana. Listening to Di's album now. 'Four Leaf Clover' is really sad. :(

Really pleased about Sophie and Alexandra. Bittersweet is Sophie's best since about Murder on the Dance Floor.

I can't understand why ANL wasn't released before Broken Heels.

I'll pass on commenting on Diana under the teaching that if you can't say anything nice, don't say anything at all.

I know WWFM has been successful everywhere else it's been released but I can't see how it's going to do here that FYE can't and without the active promotion it has had elsewhere because it'll be released in the middle of Adam's US tour.

I really think it will be his 'No Air' but maybe that's just wishful thinking on my behalf. I suppose Radio 1 will ignore it now FYE hasn't done well but in honest truth, the record company should've launched him here with WYWFM as they did everywhere else [bar the States]. Who knows what will happen...

I hope Pendulum makes top 3. That Plan B song needs to get lost now as does Usher but there's more chance of 'Watercolour' taking down 'She Said' than 'OMG'.

Good to see sophie ellis bextor move up nicely since yesterdays update, also happy Diana still number 1 in the albums, and Gorillaz album back in the top 20 is great.

I would hope it's more than his No Air but I just don't see it.

FYE has done as well as any song can be expected to with a grand total of four plays from Radio 1 and considerably more but still insufficient support from commercial radio to get it into the top 50 airplay chart at any point. Though as far as play on commercial radio is concerned the low number of spins lays wholly at the door of their listening panels.

FYE was also the single in the far East, not WWFM, where it is doing very well.

I agree though that WWFM should have been his first single here.

'For Your Entertainment' also bombed in the US but 'Whataya Want From Me' has smashed it, I'm pretty much certain the same will happen here too.

American radio was never going to touch FYE. As soon as it received its first play on Ryan Seacrest's show there were many stations saying they wouldn't play it.

Anyway, onto another artist ...............

I am just not getting the love for OMG he has better songs. He may well go back to No 1.How large is Diana Vickers lead on the album charts.

Surely the sales would be posted if there were any. :)

'OMG' has gone from being a great song, to a song which I wish to never hear again, within 2 weeks. It's literally everywhere and I am truly sick to death of it. Must be the "Will.I.Am" effect more than anything though. Most his songs nowadays seem to be great for the first week or so...

Kutox has just mentioned that Usher is 1000 behind Roll Deep.I thought HE would know the album sales.I think OMG is hanging around too long because the video channels are playing it to death.

No sorry I don't know the album sales

:l I know. Whenever I turn on Radio and it happens to be on.., switch over to another and it's on there too.

Inescapable.

I think it's good, but not great. :P

On the contrary I've only heard Roll Deep twice :kink:.

I don't hear OMG that much. It gets quite average airplay. It's not as overplayed as, say, Empire State of Mind.

I agree though, apart from the chart shows, I've only heard Good Times 2 or 3 times, so I'm surprised it's got to number-one. I've also heard Candy only twice, and I've not heard the Pendulum song at all yet.

AHHH WHERE DID SOPHIE COME FROM? FISS. BITCH. OMGZ.

I'm so happy for TV Rock too, but what is the hype with the new Pendulum single?! Is it just because it's a comeback, it's hardly outstanding is it? It seems it appeals to a pretentious public though so meh.
