I can't see Christina doing well, tbh. And BOB is releasing next week, plus Glee songs tend to peak in the top 20 then fall. I'd say Fugative could peak around #7 or something, no idea about Edward?

Edward - #1, if not very very very close.

Well Christina was heading for top 40 on itunes when it was orginally released, I think it was in the 50's and rising when removed on itunes if I remember correctly so if it was going top 40 on hype alone, it should go top 20 AT LEAST with a music video being played on music channels and being around for more time. Top 10 seems possible.

Total Eclipse of the Heart is having a similar run to GYH & LAP in the US and they both hit the official top 20 in the UK so I am guessing it should go low top 20 with a peak of like #11 on itunes.

I dunno about Fugative hitting top 10 with low music channel airplay and no radio 1 playlisting. Could happen though... look at Lemar, Selena.

As for Edward, the fake version is hovvering outside the top 20 atm so it sound be a defo top 3, but has a massive chance of going to #1.

All these new entrys should do well this week:

Edward Marya - Stereo Love (hate it but will be number 1)

B.O.B - Nothin' On You (If released could go top 3)

Christina Aguilera - Not Myself Tonight (Should go top 10, it is defo being released tonight, right?)

Fugative - Crush (Top 20)

Glee Cast - Total Eclipse of The Heart (love it, probably lower top 20 tho, like #19)

I'm unsure what's happening with Christina Aguilera. That's twice the release has been cancelled - clearly the record company have no faith whatsoever in the song doing well.

As for the others, I think Edward Maya and Fugative are guaranteed to go top 10 next week. 'Stereo Love' has a strong chance of hitting the no. 1 spot and 'Crush' going top 5. As chart wizzard has already posted, B.o.B. is supposed to be released on 16/05/10 but if it is released tomorrow I can see 'Nothin' On You' going stright to no. 1 in the UK.

Glee Cast I'll settle for low top 20 purely because I expected 'Like A Prayer' to go top 10 but it failed. Therefore I don't see their cover of 'TEOTH' peaking much higher.

I wonder if Plan B can ovetake Pendulum in the charts tomorrow now that he's been ahead of them on iTunes all day, or is it too late?

I think it's certainly a possibility - Plan B has three versions in the top 110 (5, 94, 109) and his physical is still selling decently.

Can't imagine Pendulum got too far ahead in the mids, I think a 4th week at #3 for She Said is likely really.

In other Pendulum news, the slump continues:

6. She's Always a Woman - Fyfe Dangerfield

7. Watercolour - Pendulum

Also, my predictions for new songs:

Edward Maya certain #1 unless B.o.B is released

Fugative good chance of top 10, top 20 guaranteed. can't see the lack of R1 support preventing it from being big

Xtina top 20 max if released to be honest

B.o.B if this is released, certain #1

Eminem if this is released, should go top 10 easily, maybe top 5

Glee will be about as big as GYH, so about top 15-20

It's good to see Pendulum falling, I just find it's probably hype that made that song huge because it's hardly their most prominent release but it's nice to see 'em breaking through I suppose. FYFEEEE <3 And Adam! I really hope STEREO LOVE is #01 next week, will be the best #01 in absolutely ages.
Isn't Mini Viva - One Touch also released tonight?

Top-1000 smash alert?

Brilliant song though, their best yet. But for the mass public they seem to stay one hit Tokyo wonders.

Can someone tell me why certain people think that Edward Maya is a defo for No 1? To me it sounds like something a bad busker might play in Northampton town centre to get some loose change. These crazy Romanians..

Because basically it's a hot tune. ;) It's been #1 across Europe and should do well over here too. Edward Maya might be the new Basshunter. :kink:

Thanks, that explains it. Those are some mighty big shoes to fill alright. And two years from now he'll be fellating women on the Internet and appearing in rubbish reality TV shows. Something to look forward to.. <_<

I don't think I've heard this Edward Song :heehee:... or I have but haven't connected Artist to Song.

I have heard B.o.B though and that's deffo got a shot for #1. :)

I'll be surprised if Christina gets top 40 after the yo-yoing with her release, to be honest I can see the track flopping, I think the only new entries next Sunday will come from Edward Maya, Fugitive, B.O.B. and another washed up cover version from the Glee Cast, hopefully it will sink as fast as Gives You Hell, probably top 25, judging how the Glee tracks are faring each week.

Will Fugative really go Top 10?

No

Unlikely

You're all being stupid, Mini Viva are obviously gonna be #01 this week coming.

I wish. (That pun was completely unintended). This is going to do even worse than their last single, which is a shame as it's easily their best yet.

No offence, but judging by your flag, you're American (you are American, right?), so don't really understand what type of music is popular in the UK at the moment, so that's 2 pretty naïve statements right there.
