May 5, 201016 yr Shocked to see Drake on the A-List. And Pixie gets an add for her fourth single but there's no Alexandra? :smoke:
May 5, 201016 yr They most certainly were. Just because they put Example as a new addition doesn't mean anything, they do mistakes like that all the time. Example was on the Upfront list last week, and up to the C-list this week No he was not, I have last weeks INMWT list (that's what it's called now) on my screen now and he definitely wasn't there
May 5, 201016 yr Yes Rihanna and Alicia are A-List. Hopefully Derulo joins them next week. So pleased Ke$ha and Mumford & Sons have been playlisted. :yahoo: What a great week. :)
May 5, 201016 yr YAY for Crystal Castles moving up to the B list! :o Great to see Kele on the upront, hopefully he'll move up in the next few weeks.

May 5, 201016 yr No he was not, I have last weeks INMWT list (that's what it's called now) on my screen now and he definitely wasn't there But I also remember seeing Example on the Upfront list last week as well
May 5, 201016 yr But I also remember seeing Example on the Upfront list last week as well No definitely not. Last week's INMWT list was: Band Of Horses - Compliments Blood Red Shoes - Don't Ask Hurts - Better Than Love Rusko - Woo-Boost
May 5, 201016 yr They most certainly were. Just because they put Example as a new addition doesn't mean anything, they do mistakes like that all the time. Example was on the Upfront list last week, and up to the C-list this week No, P Money and Example were not on the playlist last week at all, unless you had a different version of the Radio 1 website.
May 5, 201016 yr It is only a guess but maybe they have some limit of reality tv related songs? I mean, Diana is on A-list, maybe they think it is enough from the X-Factor? Just a small speculation.

May 5, 201016 yr Author No he was not, I have last weeks INMWT list (that's what it's called now) on my screen now and he definitely wasn't there Well when I looked at last weeks playlist ON THE RADIO 1 WEBSITE, he was there. So don't tell me he wasn't because I know he was. They could've removed it later on, but when it was updated it was there.
May 5, 201016 yr Them not playlisting Alexandra is kind of ridiculous tbh. I think now R1 are just snubbing X-Factor Winners. -_- I'm even more angry Christina hasn't been playlisted. By the looks of things NMT will be a flop.

May 5, 201016 yr Them not playlisting Alexandra is kind of ridiculous tbh. Its time to just let it go, Alex will just need to step up her promo and hope her fanbase will support the song. That playlist is going from bad to worse many of those songs will not even go Top 40.
May 5, 201016 yr Alexandra's label know that ANL won't get huge support from Radio 1 and 2 because it sounds too American. They will certainly not be relying on BBC support for this single, so don't freak out!

Dont forget Alex will be performing ANL on the National Lottery show 10:45 on BBC1 tonight.I do not think them not supporting it has anything to do with the song sounding too american.Again who cares if they were hoping the song would sink it is not going to.

The lack of support thus far has everything to do with ANL sounding too American. I'm not saying that it's a bad thing because I like the song, but it does eliminate R1 and R2 support. Alexandra's label aren't stupid, and they will have known that the BBC stations would be reluctant. It doesn't matter, of course, because plenty of acts no longer need such support, especially those as well known as AB.
