I've had such a Teenage Dream day today, still can't get enough of this album!
I've had such a Teenage Dream day today, still can't get enough of this album!

I had that the other day - I heard Last Friday Night, and just got a rush, needing to listen to the album again!

I often get this.

Katy Perry has allegedly recorded new tracks to include on a re-release of her third album Teenage Dream.

Rihanna let slip last October that the 'Firework' star was to reissue an updated edition of her album and it has now emerged that the new release could be imminent.

A representative for Dr. Luke recently denied rumours that Perry and the producer had fallen out, explaining to The New York Post: "This is ridiculous. They just put the finishing touches on Katy's newest single, which they created together, in February.

"They had a great time, and the single is amazing." He added: "He wishes Katy nothing but continued success and looks forward to working with her again soon."

Katy Perry is due to start the UK leg of her world tour at London's Hammersmith Apollo on March 17.

I still think this is like her only strong album as a whole package tbh.

PRISM and One of the boys had their moments of good but also had some bad tracks.

Witness also had like 5 strong tracks with the rest being naff.

But Teenage Dream is like her best album by a mile.

I listened to it yesterday and was surprised by how strong it actually was and how strong it still sounds tbh.

She just got everything right with this era tbh and was on a huge high throughout.

The single choices, the videos etc. It’s one of the best eras I’ve ever seen for single choices tbh.

In the UK I’d say Teenage Dream to Katy is what Stripped was to Christina Aguilera. (both did better with album 2 than album one, both had a third album what could’ve done better had them/their team got better single choices out there, and both come back with a polarising fourth album after a long break what underperformed).

Agreed.

I actually prefer Prism now as I listened to TD so much, but her team butchered Prism with the single releases.

I can't believe this album will be 10 this year either! I remember my first listen  Its a great album, but for me, One of the Boys will always be my favourite album by Katy

I think this will always be my favourite by her.

None of her other albums are listenable as a whole for me. I always call her the inconsistent queen Katy but this album was like one of those rare albums where just everything felt right and everything worked and I wouldn’t change a thing about the campaign. I can still listen and enjoy this as an album too.

There should be an updated tenth anniversary Least Fave song poll with just the tracks on this album! Be interesting to compare results as years have passed.

I actually knew that! I think someone either mentioned it in here (obviously early pages) or someone told me over MSN or something

Can't believe this album is nearly 10 years old!
