So surprised roll deep is still at #1, didnt expect this at all.

I just think it's a great song. I love the original, I love Nicki French's version and I also bought the Jan Wayne version on single in 2003. Glee's version is also incredibly strong. Never gets old, the original is easily in my top 5 of the 80's.

 

If Roll Deep get a third week at #1, it's surely by default a la Taio Cruz - Break Your Heart because nothing seemingly big enough has come along to replace them. Hopefully this means it will be #1 in the US before the year's out :kink:

Hoping that Good times will start falling now,2 weeks on #1 was enough :)

My iTunes says Glee is back to #3,i guess it's some mistake.

 

Just checked the live feed and its showing at #2 for me..

Looks like TEOTH should get #1 then, it's still climbing fairly quickly

 

I alter my prediction of 6/7 officially to about #4, but still practically zero chance of #1 (although I need to stop saying that before I anti-jinx it)

 

To be honest, TEOTH is actually a good song - so I wouldn't mind *that* much if it got to #1 even if the cover is a bit poo (I haven't heard it though)

I don't mind long running #1's if they're selling in much higher quantities than everything else for all or most of their weeks on top a la Amarillo/Bleeding Love. But being lucky and getting ages at #1 by default because nothing big is out (that means you Umbrella!) isn't an ideal situation. And Good Times is pretty much my favourite song in the chart at the moment too :lol: If it was selling 80k a week then fine, but 40k selling #1's in 2010 is a bit of a disaster.
