I'm going to be genuinely upset when it finishes. :( My favourite Reality TV Show eveeeeeer I think. Really hope it goes out with a huge bang.
Saaame. When I was reading through this thread I was getting genuinely upset haha [/saddo]

I've been watching Big Brother religiously since 3. But I was watching bits & bobs since the first episode. My favourite is still BB5 & BB7. BB5 was amazing because it was the first time we had that huge fight between Emma (?) and Victor. Amazing. BB7, just because all of them were entertaining and fantastic personalities. BB9 was amazing too. This is going to be more emotional than I think it's going to be, isn't it? :(

I've been watching since the start. Last two/three years i haven't been as addicted. I didn't even watch last years :o :( I missed the first few weeks of it for obvious reasons and couldn't be f***ed attempting to get in to it.
Reading this I want to watch all of the seasons, lolz! But unfortunately this is hardly possible :(

Yeah last years was actually really good. I quite liked Bea, especially when Noirin was still in there - the backing stabbing chats were great to watch.

As others I will be extremely upset when it finishes. Its's the best reality TV ever! I look forward to watching every summer, no idea what I'll watch when it's over.

I loved Noirin too, loved her argument with Bea on her last day. Let all her feelings out  Plus the indian guy was laugh a minute during the early weeks, but I loathed him, and I mean really loathed him towards the end of his stay. I was so angry after he insulted Freddie about his dyslexia in the kitchen, and the way wormed his way into the popular group and looked down on everyone else; he had a nasty, horrible personality. I remember having a massive debate with somone about that Freddie incident, who thought he was entertaining and should stay, on This Is Big Brother. It was like essay length, full of higlighted points and everything. I think I've still got it in my documents  And Bea provided so much entertainment, one of the most hated and manipulative housemates ever (my favourite 'villain' since Grace in BB7) and to think when she first went everyone thought she was going to be the fun, Phoebe-ish/hippy person of the house; and loads of people (myself included) thought she was going to win it LOL @ how that turned out :P

By the looks of it, the original chair is buried

Freddie really wound me up in the first week but I am so glad he stayed. One of my favourite housemates. LOVED Marcus and his rebellious ways. The episode where Lisa (who lives not far from me :P) and David went to London and the rest of the housemates broke into the camera runs was my personal highlight. So funny.

Really didn't like Charlie, saw through him from the start. That said, him and Rodrigo did provide some great moments

That has to be one of the best episodes ever

Oh I wasn't a fan of Marcus or Freddie. :( They both kind of annoyed me lol. I think Sophie was my favourite and I was one of the very very few fans of Noirin too. I think Ryan and Aled off of here liked her as well though. :heehee: :ph43r:

But yeah Charlie was an absolute knob, like you, I saw right through him from the start.

Noirin was fantastic.

No. :(

Apprantly starting second week of June though, no date though - guessing it'll be Friday.

New advert aired just before 9pm apparently with flowers and music :o

I first started watching BB properly in 2004, where Nadia was my favourite from the launch. I loved Nikki in 2006, and my highlight of that series must be when Big Brother went on holiday. The twins were my favourites in 2007, though looking back, that wasn't the greatest series. I also loved Gerry in that series, and was so upset when he got evicted. In 2008, I like Rex/Nicole/Lisa, and when it came to the final, I was supporting Rachel. Last year, my favourite by far was Freddie, though I was supporting Sophie in the final.

Let's hope BB has a fantastic last series. I dunno who I wanted to win CBB, but it certainly wasn't Alex.

You never know with this show - CBB started on a Sunday this year. And I'm sure it's started on a Thursday or a Wednesday in the past.

I still can't believe it's ending :(

EXCITED, though. Kinda bittersweet. It's gonna be (U) seeing Davina presenting the final...ever final.

Pretty good

Over the last decade, the Big Brother Eye has become one of the most familiar and iconic emblems of any TV show. With the final series on Channel 4 due to start in a matter of weeks the last Big Brother Eye has, at last, been revealed to eagerly awaiting fans.

Made up of hundreds of brightly coloured flowers the Big Brother 11 Eye is a vibrant floral tribute marking the end of Big Brother and the eleven years of entertainment the show has brought its millions of fans over the summer months.

This tribute is echoed in the start of the new trailer for the series which depicts the final farewell of the Big Brother Diary Room chair. But in true Big Brother style things do not remain sombre for long.

On Monday night, directly following Davina McCall's new show, The Million Pound Drop Live (opens in a new window), on Channel 4 viewers will see the trail on TV for the first time.

The trailer shows a sombre funeral presided over by voice of Big Brother Marcus Bentley, and attended by former Housemates loved and loathed, as they bid fond farewell to the show that made them household names. But, as the diary room chair is lowered into the ground the scene erupts into a colourful mardi gras as the true nature of the show is celebrated with a joyful explosion of confetti, carnival music and dancing.

Offering a glimpse of what they can expect from the final series the trail communicates to fans that although this may be the end there are still a few more surprises in store.

David Williams, Commissioning Editor for Big Brother at Channel 4 said

"Yes the series is ending and yes we wanted to mark that but we also wanted to show viewers that Big Brother is essentially an incredible entertainment show and there are plans afoot to ensure that a carnival atmosphere of fun and enjoyment will be at the forefront for what we hope will be a lively final series."

Viewers are invited to watch Davina’s new show, The Million Pound Drop Live (opens in a new window), on Monday at 10pm to see the trail for the first time on Channel 4 directly following this.
