I Dreamed A Dream was utterly amazing!!!!!!!!

I love when Lea sings really big, powerful, emotional songs like that.

Finally got round to finishing off the last 15 minutes or so and WOW! 'I Dreamed A Dream' made the hairs on the back of my neck stand up. Overall, it was a great episode. Nice to see Artie & Tina as the characters in the spotlight for a change. More of them please.

I'm honestly getting so tired of Glee right now. :/ I haven't seen any episode after Laryngitis but this show is almost just like...too goddamn happy for me? It feels like they tack on this cheesy moral at the end of every episode now I dunno. I'll catch up but I'm really starting to lose any interest in this show. Which is sad because I was like the first person obsessed with it on this site lawlz. D: And then I feel like its target audience changes every like ten minutes, from like late teenager / young adults to like 12 year old girls and young gay kids who don't even realize they're gay yet. I DUNNO.

HOWEVER, Kurt's plots are fairly solid. (y)

Larynditis was the episode right before this one which was aired only one day earlier. :kink:

I know what you mean though, however i only love it even more now than ever

Was a really good episode. and I love 'I Dreamed a Dream' and 'Dream On' :D

Was a good episode :D The Rachel/Idina Menzel/You're not my mother, yes I am plot as slightly annoying as it is that Rachel's mother just happens to be Vocal Adreline's coach and that she just as so happens to have snogged Will's face off a few episodes back - it's also quite a nice storyline on the whole and the I Dreamed A Dream performance was my favourite of the episode.

Always good to have some sort of storyline for Artie and Tina. She in particular is shockingly underused. Now we need a Quinn episode though, been ages since she's been at the forefront of the show.

Neil Patrick Harris was a good guest-star but not a character i'd be dying to have back. Rather liking Molly Shannon's random appearances though.

Next week is a Tina episode and from the description of 'Funk' it seems to focus on Quinn...

I shall let ye know my thoughts on 'Dream On' when I watch it at the weekend ^_^

It's just hit me what an inspired casting Idina Menzel was to play Rachel's mother. They literally look the same and could pass for mother and daughter more than most real families could  :o

I watched it again. 'Dream On' (<3) wasn't murdered, 'The Safety Dance' was good and Artie did 'Mama Cass' well, even if he isn't much of a vocalist.

Fantastic - easily the best proper conventional episode thus far in the back nine (and no, I'm not counting Power of Madonna - let's face it, that was amazing solely for Like A Prayer, 4 Minutes, and Vogue) and definitely a good sign of things to come. I'd been getting afraid for Glee over the past few episodes but what a return to form!

Very good review at the AV Club.

Wow, what a superb episode.

PS. On Elaine Paige's Sunday Radio 2 Musical programme she played the Glee version of I Dreamed A Dream and back announced "now that's how that track should sound".

Clearly a slightly jealous/catty reference towards SuBo.

Very good ep :) Neil Patrick Harris was a great guest star, and I loved the Tina/Artie focus! the downside was hardly any Kurt, Mercedes or Brittany :(

I would actually agree with her. SuBo's version is beyond overrated and crap imo. This version has made me love the song so much more.
"Dream On" & "I Dreamed A Dream" They were both incredible. I loved the episode, I'm loving Glee more and more as the weeks go by! ^_^
Another great episode! I loved all the songs, which is a first! ^_^ Glad they focused on Artie/Tina as they're 2 of my favourite characters. The best bit was when Bryan said they're not going to achieve their dreams, and Tina was in the corner crying.

Another incredible episode. 'I Dreamed A Dream' was stunning, easily my favourite song from the episode, and probably one of my favourite Glee songs.

No Brittany or Kurt though. :(

I Dreamed A Dream was amazing but overall I didn't like the episode. The Jesse plot was easy to spot and well I don't like Will's singing so I skipped those parts.
