I don't like it that much. But I've never been a Kylie fan! It has a summer beat combined with whispered voice, it will be a radio hit. It is a first single + after a long time so with good promo it will top the charts. Usually at this time of the year we don't have high sales and big releases so it will surely hit top 3. My bet is on no1!!!
Well... 3 singles from 'X' era got top-10, 'In My Arms' struggled but still got there. 'The One' release was a mess. We'll wait. I hope there is some killer now hidden in the album which is stronger than her first single.
I like it but im not blow away by it - I think I prefered most if not all of the singles from X. Probably a guaranteed top 5, if not top 3 though.

I think 'All The Lovers' is better than '2 Hearts' but I would consider 'Wow, 'In My Arms' and 'The One' as better tracks. Agree with Arrs about the release of 'The One' - the record company did the whole thing backwards leading to a flop single by Kylie's standards...with, imo, the best single released from 'X'. >_<

'the one' is my favourite kylie single ever for sure. deserved so much more than the flimsy peak it got.

The most interesting thing of all is, that except for the Fever era every 3rd single onwards from a Kylie album is effectively a fanbase buy that peaks in the top 10 and drops quickly, the first two always do well. It'll be interesting to see how even the second single fares this time around with the current market.

 

As for 'The One', it was the most retarded cock-up of a single release I'd ever seen and quite frankly the record company deserved that peak for being so useless.

I'd say top 3 minimum, hopefully #1.

Yeah. I believe they have done in the past, but most of the time, if it's by an artist with a fanbase and who has a big enough appeal (like Kylie etc...) there's a 95% chance they'll always support them.
As a Kylie fan, I would love it to be #1 but the song will be up against Tinie Tempah and we all know how he blocked RiRi from #1 :angry: So I think that might happen with Kylie. :( Top 3. #2 to be more precise.

His album is not out yet though.. Hes releasing a 2nd single & then the album (I think).. so both have a chance of number 1

 

Edit: Just seen Frisky is released 3 weeks before ? I thought they were released the same week

'Frisky' is not that strong as 'Pass Out' though, plus it's basically a carbon copy of 'Pass Out', maybe it will make some sense? :unsure:
Yeh the first time I heard Frisky.. I thought it sounded just like Pass Out.. but I still prefer Frisky & its likely he will get another number 1

I want All The Lovers to be number 1, although I'm not sure she will be :(

probably #1, even though the music on the chorus is horrible to the point of i couldnt finish listening to the song.
