January 13, 201114 yr So, these have managed to get a slot at the Grammy Awards! Eminem and Arcade Fire will perform at the Grammy Awards next month. The rapper’s appearance has been confirmed, while Pitchfork reported the Montreal based band’s performance on Wednesday (January 12). Organisers of the event, which takes place in Los Angeles on February 13, are expected to announce the line-up today. Lady Gaga has already confirmed her appearance at the ceremony, while Britney Spears is rumoured to be performing. Eminem leads the way in nominations, with Bruno Mars and Lady Gaga receiving seven and six nods each. Other nominees include Katy Perry, Justin Bieber and Rihanna.
February 15, 201114 yr Even though I personally don't rate them, I am soooo glad that them getting the Grammy is seriously getting The States' goat. Hilarious! That really was a total body swerve of an award.
February 15, 201114 yr LMAO! Anyway, I must admit I'm a bit disappointed with the next single. 'City With No Children'? Really? Maybe I just prefer some of the album tracks. 'Suburban War' is one.
February 15, 201114 yr The best album but not the best alternative album. Now that's hilarious and sort of sad from Grammy's point of view.. They really lost all the credibility they had (if they still had some). Shame that FB and Twitter didn't exist in 2001 when Steely Dan beat Eminem... Edited February 15, 201114 yr by SKOB
February 15, 201114 yr Brilliant that they won, some peoples' stupidity is beyond belief. The album got to #1 over there as well
July 5, 201113 yr Anyone else going to Hyde Park tomorrow? :cheer: I wish, love Arcade Fire. There's not a single album of theirs that I don't like. Superb music.
July 5, 201113 yr How was the concert? Contemplating going to a gig with them when they come to Denmark later this summer. I'm not really a major fan, but quite enjoy some of their stuff.
