May 19, 201016 yr I'm not really surprised Alex didn't fall, she has high physical sales due to being an X Factor act and 3 versions in the iTunes top 200. 8. All Night Long (Single Version) - Alexandra Burke 120. All Night Long - Alexandra Burke 187. All Night Long (feat. Pitbull) [single Version] - Alexandra Burke Alicia. Could I have info on The Platinum Collection please? :) The position is hidden some36where in this sentence. Edited May 19, 201016 yr by Bray
May 19, 201016 yr I'm not really surprised Alex didn't fall, she has high physical sales due to being an X Factor act and 3 versions in the iTunes top 200. 8, 120 and 187 at the moment. But they weren't that high on iTunes yesterday (to keep her up to 3 today). Physicals are strong (evidentally) for her, but I doubt they're making that much difference. Maybe other download sites are actually helping and iTunes is losing it's touch quicker than Radio 1? :kink: Physicals only matter so much if the act performed their single on XFactor (i.e. 'Bad Boys'/'Fight For This Love' etc...) or if it was the winning single. Any future ones, hardly make any difference. thanks for the Alicia position :)
May 19, 201016 yr ***THE CHART SHOW ON SUNDAY WILL START FROM 6PM THIS WEEK***Â As confirmed on the Chart Update Edited May 19, 201016 yr by Bray
May 19, 201016 yr Because of Radio 1's Big weekend I imagine? So they're going to have one hour of couting down 11-40 and then play the top 10?
May 19, 201016 yr Because of Radio 1's Big weekend I imagine? So they're going to have one hour of couting down 11-40 and then play the top 10? I think the extra hour is a good thing, because it means they can do all the Big Weekend $h!te but we get to hear more of the chart than we did last year when about an hour of Big Weekend $h!t was taking up space in the chart show Ugh, I got confused there, I thought it started at 7 for some reason  But yeah, only an hour this week. That is a bit $h!t considering how many new entries there are  There'll be about 9 new entries outside the top 10, so can they play 19 songs in 1 hour? Hmmm, they could just about if there's no talking in between, but it's Reggie FFS so that won't happen. They're going to have to skip most of the new entries >_< Edited May 19, 201016 yr by Bray

May 19, 201016 yr Katie Melua's new song is great... should be higher imo She should be out-selling BoB by 10-1!
May 19, 201016 yr The Katie Melua song is one of her best..pity its not doing any better. Where abouts is Boyzone's new single and album?
May 19, 201016 yr  Feck you Radio 1! we're only going to catch an hour their not taking the chart seriously and just focus on the big weekend- I remember the chart a few years ago when it was the big weekend and it was normal with a few live performances- I dont see why they cant do that again
May 19, 201016 yr Blimey! the big weekend most be one 'ell of an event :o The last time there was less of a chart show on R1 was when they pulled it completely after Princess Diana died in 1997. Edited May 19, 201016 yr by fiesta
May 19, 201016 yr Blimey! the big weekend most be one 'ell of an event :o The last time there was less of a chart show on R1 was when they pulled it completely after Princess Diana died in 1997. It's not totally confirmed that it's not just gonna go on from 6-9 yet I don't think, but that's unlikely Radio 1 create more hype around the Big Weekend every year it seems, next year Big Weekend week we probably won't even get a chart show
May 19, 201016 yr the 40-31 section has a new entry at a very odd number, and a faller at every even number! :lol:Â plus the Glee Cast double at 33-34 and Justin Bieber at 32 and 31! Edited May 19, 201016 yr by chart wizard
May 19, 201016 yr I don't really know what I'm talking about, but are we sure it's 6-7pm and not 6-9pm or something?
May 19, 201016 yr Alexandra still holding up well, and Muse doin brilliant,i hope katie melua can also climb. Im hoping Rolling Stones are knocked off number 1 come sunday.
May 19, 201016 yr I don't really know what I'm talking about, but are we sure it's 6-7pm and not 6-9pm or something? We're not sure but it's most likely it's 6-7 as the OCC update their website at 7pm, and I don't see why *they'd* change for the Big Weekend
