Hope she doesn't stall at #22 but what can you do selling on people's memory alone, it's not like it's getting any continued TV or radio airplay :drama: Oh well, rather it top 40 than not available at all...

#22 is great for me :) As long as it doesn't plummet, it'll be a decent top 25 hit, and there might be a couple of other ESC songs in the chart too. That's better than 2008, when we last came last (Andy peaking at #67 and no other hits), and still better than 2007 (when Verka - not even the winner - reached #28 and Scooch were top 5).

Well yeah, I agree to an extent, but it's still gutting that every other country in Europe has it at #1 near enough - purely because the media outlets in those countries give continued support to Eurovision after the show, apart from France it would seem, where Satellite is still unavailable and barely anything else has made any sort of an impact. I still hope it climbs much higher though!

 

iTunes were a disaster area in 2008 in terms of Eurovision, more than half of the songs were unavailable, and the winner was absolutely awful as was our own entry (in my opinon of course) so no wonder people didn't get excited about it :heehee: I'm pretty sure Secret Combination went top 60 though, and did better than Andy...I recall it in the midweek top 40 that year at least before it disappeared into the top 75 by Sunday.

If Madcon gets top 40 on either Sunday or Wednesday, are Radio 1 forced to play it in full because it's a new entry? Just wondering, because the full version is over 7 minutes long :P

Satellite seems to be edging closer to Te Amo looking at the pop bars, I've never seen such a gap between what was #21 and #22 :drama: Hope it can get up to #15-ish afterwards but it's definitley slowed right down :(
