Happened with leona lewis with Run as well, she was #1 by miles then it was deleted. However in no time she was back up there to #1 :)

So hopefully ridin solo wont take too long to get back up to where it was, its just so annoying!

i assume it doesnt mean losing too many sales as people are probably still buying it at the same pace but it just needs time to climb back up the chart

Well, being in the top 10 gives you a bit of extra advertising, as you're on the front page of iTunes. Also many websites such as the Big Top 40 Show's website, the websites of some commercial radio stations, this very website, and others, have the iTunes top 10 on their front pages, so it'll lose a bit of advertising there too. This is basically what causes the top 10 effect, so Ridin' Solo should probably be selling a little slower now, but hopefully it won't be too extreme.
