June 6, 201016 yr We Dance On  Shame they couldn't get a 2nd (/3rd if you count N1) top 5 with it :( Edited June 6, 201016 yr by Bray
June 6, 201016 yr I think it's set for #6. I hope it'll reach #5, but I'd be very happy with #6. I'm so happy that she's gotten her 3rd Top 10 with this era, it deserves it, the album is fantastic. Hopefully "Put It In a Love Song" will be #1! :kink:
June 6, 201016 yr This tune originally had Emimem on the tune but the single version of this tune doesn't have him on it, maybe its Haley's singing that is the problem. Airplanes Part II is on B.o.B's album, it's got Eminem doing an extra verse. I'm not sure how you can find Hayley's singing a problem
June 6, 201016 yr This tune originally had Emimem on the tune but the single version of this tune doesn't have him on it, maybe its Haley's singing that is the problem. It didn't originally have Eminem on, he was added for Part. II, which is album only, and Hayley's singing is perfect.
June 6, 201016 yr Only #7? It deserved to be higher! But I'm very thankful that it's Top 10! ^_^
June 6, 201016 yr FINALLY a good song in the top 10  This deserves a run like ESOM Pt II, but I doubt it will get one...
June 6, 201016 yr Author 7 (from 13) Alicia Keys - Try Sleeping With A Broken Heart [D] http://www3.hmv.co.uk/hmv/Large_Images/HMV/B285977PMI.JPG Chart Run: 71-xx(11 wks)-63-31-23-20-13-13-7 [8 wks] Release date: 23-05-2010 Format: download only single Label: J Records Precocious R&B vocalist/pianist Alicia Keys was hand-picked by Clive Davis as one of the flagship artists for his post-Arista label, J Records. No doubt he was as impressed by her multitude of skills (Keys took a large role in the writing, arranging, and production of her debut album) as by her music, which mates contemporary hip-hop accoutrements to an old-school soul sensibility a la Jill Scott or D'Angelo. Only 20 years old at the time of the album's release, Keys already seemed poised for a major career built upon her soulful voice and classically trained piano chops. While hip-hop played a much bigger role on her second effort, 2003's THE DIARY OF ALICIA KEYS, it was a smash nonetheless, and subsequent recordings have further pushed the boundaries of R&B - HMV Video here: Chart history (Year peak title): 2001 03 Fallin' 2002 37 Brotha Part II (Angie Stone Featuring Alicia Keys And Eve) 2002 18 A Woman's Worth 2002 26 How Come You Don't Call Me 2002 06 Gangsta Lovin' (Eve Featuring Alicia Keys) 2002 24 Girlfriend 2003 19 You Don't Know My Name 2004 18 If I Ain't Got You 2006 62 Ghetto Story (Cham Featuring Alicia Keys) 2007 06 No One 2008 53 Like You'll Never See Me Again 2008 09 Another Way To Die (Alicia Keys And Jack White) 2009 02 Empire State Of Mind (Jay-Z feat. June 6, 201016 yr A third single from a 2x platinum album reaching #7 is fantastic, especially considering how in the past Alicia could only scrape one top ten single per album. :o EDIT - Alicia has been positions #2, #3, #4, #6, #7, #8 and #9 with her singles. :P Edited June 6, 201016 yr by shadow2009
