I wonder if there's an outside chance K'naan could go #1 officially - that would be amazing :o

I'd love that  and it may just happen Even better if Gaga, Pixie or Robyn did :kink:

Also:

Commander >> Stole > When Love Takes Over >> Grown Ass Woman >>> Work

That's of the Kelly songs I like

there seems to be two different battles going on at once

He'll have to overtake from now until tomorrow afternoon to be in with a chance

any later and it will be another 'Once-OMG' moment and he will be too late

I still hold hope that he might :(

oh and for me:

Dilemma>>>>>>>>>When Love Takes Over>>>>>> Work >>>>>>>Stole>>>>>>>Like This

I havent heard the rest yet :kink:

I'd imagine Shout to go back to number 1 on friday if K'Naan topples tomorrow anyway due to England playing...

I dont think K'Naan has a hope of getting the top spot officially on Sunday... maybe if England lose - but even then I would think his lead would have to be quite big

As far as Kelly songs go I'd say;

01 Stole

02 Daylight (:()

03 When Love Takes Over

04 Can't Nobody

05 Work

06 Dilemma

07 Commander

08 Train On A Track

My top 3 Kelly songs;

1. Work (Freemasons Remix)

2. When Love Takes Over

3. Stole

And I was quite fond of her duet with Trina, Here We Go. Can't Nobody was decent too. But that top three are unbeatable for me, all defining moments in her solo career and songs that stood out from the crowd. Work less so than the other two I guess but I adore it anyway. I remember the first time I heard it - loved the intro and music and wondered who it was by, and then her unmistakable vocals came in and I knew she had a smash on her hands  I was pretty gutted it only got to #4 actually, I wondered if it could have been her first solo #1 about a month before it came out. Stole was unlucky to come out the same day as another pop classic - All The Things She Said. It was a high selling #2 iirc and would have been #1 most weeks, certainly in the dire sales climate of 2003.

I don't like any Kelly Rowland songs  Well, Work is alright I guess

Oh well, as it's become a Kelly Rowland rate why not join in? :D

When Love Takes Over

Dilemma

Work

Stole

Commander

Daylight

Can't Nobody

Train On A Track

'Commander' is alright but certainly nowhere near the standard of 'When Love Takes Over', 'Dilemma', 'Work' and 'Stole'.

'Commander' is probably the best for me, although maybe not against 'When Love Takes Over'. I also liked 'Work' (strictly the Freemasons remix) and 'Can't Nobody'. I appreciate 'Stole' is good lyrically but my god it's overrated.

'Like This', 'Dilemma' and 'Daylight' however = :puke:

I forgot Daylight- I didnt like that at all

A lot of her songs just havent aged well, with the exception of maybe Dilemma- I dont think many will be remembered in ten years time

KELLY ROWLAND RANKAGE!

01 Commander

02 Stole

03 When Love Takes Over

04 Daylight (so underated)

05 Cant Nobody

06 Work

07 Dilemma

08 Train On A Track

09 Here We Go

Love or at least really like all of them tbh  As an artist, she's always been quite underated despite getting many top 10's and all her singles into the top 20.

I only like Dilemma and Love Take Over :(

I think Commander is okay. There's better songs in the top 10 (e.g. Alejandro, Ridin' Solo), so I'm scared for it to climb and knock one of them out.

If it gets into the top 10 soon though, it'll be the 4th time this year (I think) that we've had a person with 2 tracks in the top 10 at the same time. The others being 3OH!3, Katy Perry and Glee Cast.

I only like Dilemma and Love Take Over :(

Shouldnt you be telling people to get back on topic rather than join in?

That's a straight out lie and you know it. CG's lyrics are dreadful.

Umm no it's not.

California Gurls is obviously tongue-in-cheeck and the lyrics reflect that: "sun-kissed skin, so hot we'll melt your popsicle" and "I know a place where the grass is really greener". Therefore it does what it's supposed to.

And, btw, I said "bettER" - comparing it to Tik Tok/Commander. No competition really. -_-

Again, here here. Lyrics have been far worse than 'California Gurls' lately, Black Eyed Peas' aren't all that for example, pretty basic simplistic lyrics but that doesn't stop them from being good.

Oasis - Whatever is slowly climbing up the iTunes chart, it'll be top 50 by tomorrow. I can't believe it hadn't been released on iTunes until this week.

Oh I love that song.

Off topic, well ish, but why isn't 'Undercover Lover' taking off?! It's amazing, well I've only recently got into it but I love it. :(
