June 20, 201015 yr Kelly Clarkson - I Do Not Hook Up (thought it would have been top 5 ). Beyonce - Broken-Hearted Girl (one of the best singles Beyonce has ever released imo). Cherish - Killa (a hit that never was :snif:). drop that atrocious signature - it's irrelevant and embarrassing
June 20, 201015 yr Britney Spears - Radar Kelly Clarkson - Already Gone Taio Cruz - No Other One Kristinia DeBarge - Goodbye Kaci Battaglia - Crazy Possessive The Dolly Rockers - Golddigger Girls Can't Catch - Keep your head up Edited June 20, 201015 yr by Anterny
June 20, 201015 yr VV Brown - Shark In The Water FrankMusik - Confusion Girl [i had this down to be a #9] Little Boots - Earthquake A bit SO2009, but still.
June 20, 201015 yr Britney - If U Seek Amy To be honest, with the jacked up radio edit, and Jive's silly release schedule; it's a surprise this peaked at #20, had those problems not occurred, a definite top #5. A definite top five when Circus didn't even make it? Ashlee Simpson - Outta My Head Had this been released 3 months before, it would've been huge. There was a time and place for Timbaland tracks, and when Ashlee released hers wasn't the time. Plus she had no radio support whatsoever! Trends don't tend to die off completely in the space of three months. 4 Minutes was Timbaland produced and was still top ten/twenty at the time...
June 20, 201015 yr drop that atrocious signature - it's irrelevant and embarrassing Do you wanna drop dead?
June 20, 201015 yr Do you wanna drop dead? i downloaded leona coz your sig reminded me hehe outta my head is definitely my fav song from the album.
June 20, 201015 yr i downloaded leona coz your sig reminded me hehe outta my head is definitely my fav song from the album. Haha let's hope it'll be a single. :D Imo, Syco should re-release Echo with a special DVD of the tour around XF time with Outta My Head being the lead single. Surely that makes sense. Or maybe Scene Of The Crime could be the lead single.
June 20, 201015 yr Ashley Tisdale - It's Alright, It's OK Not even Top 100! Such a good pop tune. Lack of promotion/airplay. Demi Lovato - Remember December Way overdue release and lack of promo! Jonas Brothers - Paranoid / Burnin' Up #50-ish peak, really great soft-rock with mass-appeal. Burnin' Up is a summer anthem, bit novelty and screamed at #5 hit - peak was #30! Edited June 20, 201015 yr by Jamieed
June 20, 201015 yr 21 Guns is basically 'All the Young Dudes' by Mott the Hoople, hence why it flopped. True, but "Boulevard" nicked the chord progression off "Wonderwall" and it's still (rightly) regarded as an absolute anthem.
June 20, 201015 yr Roksopp Feat. Robyn - The Girl & The Robot Empire Of The Sun - Walking On A Dream Biffy Clyro - Bubbles Ladyhawke - Err all of her releases especially 'Pasis Is Burning and My Delerium' :( Edited June 20, 201015 yr by GAV
June 21, 201015 yr VV Brown - Shark In The Water. Ignored completly by Radio 1, usually their snubs are understandable to some extent but this really had potential to be a huge summer anthem :(^^ This. ^^ 'Do Wah Doo' by Kate Nash should have been alot bigger than what it was too! I'd also personally add, Michelle Williams 'We Break The Dawn' & OneRepublic 'Say (All I Need)' I thought these would be massive. :( I also actually agree with Ashley Tisdale 'It's Alright, It's OK'. Had it been Kelly C's comeback or released by Miley or something, it would have been huge.
June 21, 201015 yr I also actually agree with Ashley Tisdale 'It's Alright, It's OK'. Had it been released by Miley or something, it would have been huge. well it may have got to 11 :naughty:
June 21, 201015 yr Two words. Already Gone. I dont think I need to say anymore -_-:banghead: How could I forget this?! One of the best songs of last year, without doubt had Top 5 written all over it! Lack of radio support and the fact it followed a big flop, damaged this :( The fact it was released after 'Halo', even though it was apparently written and recorded before 'Halo' was born, may also have affected it, and made it seem even more generic than it was at the time. well it may have got to 11 :naughty::lol: Well, at least it would have been bigger than when Ashley released it :(
June 21, 201015 yr Royksopp Feat. Robyn - The Girl & The Robot Absolutely couldn't agree more. One of the most beautiful songs ever, gives me goosebumps effortlessly.
June 21, 201015 yr Lady Antebellum - Need You Now. A bit more airplay etc. and it coulda been HUGE :(
June 21, 201015 yr Owl City - Umbrella Beach I'm not it's biggest fan, but it had alot of airplay (made #6 or something on the airplay chart) and was follow up to a huge #1 hit... I thought it would AT LEAST make the Top 40...but missed the Top 100 all together. :/ Have no idea what happened there because i do find this better than Fireflies now...
June 21, 201015 yr Seriously? On A Mission has far, far better grounds to be counted as a 'classic gay anthem'. I don't think I know ANYBODY who gave a $h!t about HDL  *nods* I found it to be absolutely dreadful. Not even On A Mission was that good. Yet another example of overhype from the Buzzjack Gay community nomnom. I don't understand how songs Kids In Glass Houses and You Me At Six continue to flop. They've had so many good songs and seem able to get good Radio 1 support but not even Frankie from the Saturdays can help them have a decent sized hit  Also everything released by Frankmusik last year. I thought he was going to be huge :(
