July 4, 201015 yr They're not. Airplanes is in the key of F# minor, whilst Eminem is in the key of G minor. The chord sequence is very different as well. But the rhythms of the words are almost exactly the same. And it's the same formula of rapper on the verses, female singer repeating the chorus a few times at intervals.

What does the key matter if they're both minor? You can tranpose Airplanes by only 1 semitone to get it into the same key as Eminem/Rihanna. You're right about the chords though, and that's one of the most important things. I think the instrumentals are similar too, though.
