2008 = September

2009 = Agnes

2010 = Inna

It seems every year there is a European based female act who scores one big chart hit then struggles to capitalise on their new found success with the second single.

September's second single did alright, it's just they somehow managed to completely botch the third single (which coincidentally the album was supposed to be released off the back of and never saw the light of day because of this).

Poor Vanessa (Amorosi :P) :( I wish they'd move the release back, not that it will do it any favours, when Radio 1 have made up their mind not to playlist something that's it. Is the video even on music channels though, I at least though Chart Show would play it. Gutted for Donkeyboy too although it was expected.

Don't be surprised if neither of them is released next week

Also it appears that Off On My Kiss was actually released on 17th May

Isn't 'Hot' pretty much the same tempo? They sound almost the same to me, just 'Amazing' being tons better.

Hot seems more frantic somehow, in the chorus especially, Amazing feels more chilled out and summery. In terms of actual speed I have no idea :lol:

for me, Amazing is far and away her best song, a feeling shared by numerous people I know. But that's beyond the fact, the first single was a big hit, I expected them to support her 2nd single at least.

Most people I know are the opposite. When I've played Amazing to people at work all without exception said that they preferred Hot. Maybe because they're more familiar with it though? It's easy to favour a song you've known for ages over one you're hearing for the first time, and Amazing's not really had any airplay over here whatsoever apart from a few music channel plays so I guess people don't know it.

I noticed that, I guess that was her 'buzz' single, but it didn't create any buzz whatsoever :lol: I just don't get why they're ploughing so much time and money into her for a UK launch when she's quite clearly not going to get any support this time around :(

Vanessa is now coming out on 19th (download only)

I expect Donkeyboy has been pushed back to early August given the album isn't due until the 23rd

WOO! Jason, Ellie & Roll Deep :heart:

No Alex yet. But there's also no Brandon or Taio (who's released same week) and they're surefire adds to the playlist I reckon.
