Is 'Love The Way You Lie' getting an official release then? I haven't heard anything about a video being made for it :unsure:

 

Yes, 9th August - they started filming the video this week

LTWYL may be a serious contender for Owl City's throne of the highest selling single of 2010 if it's already sold as much as it has without a video. It could finally get Eminem back to #1 if the video is good :o

 

Airplanes and Americano should also challenge for year end top 10, as well as California Gurls of course. It's been a big few weeks for potential massive sellers :kink:

Judging by the Irish pop bars, if the 'Step Up 3D' soundtrack is released next week, 'Flo Rida' will be heading for the Top 5.

 

Just checked iTunes - it's out Monday.

 

 

I think The Wanted are being seriously under-estimated personally..

 

Too true, on Heart fm when they advertise Big top 40 they keep saying ''Can the Wanted beat Yolanda this weekend for #1'' so they must think its gonna be big

Hoping Travie McCoy can get to #1 next week, I'm annoyed enough that WNSA has had one week at #1 -_-

 

Then, could The Hoosiers be in with an outside chance? "Choices" is everywhere and has far more to it than the Scouting for Girls comeback single and we all know what happened there! I've always said that Linkin Park had a shout but the release of "The Catalyst" is so buggered up, it's not even premiered yet and the release is in eight days. It's going to pull a "Know Your Enemy" by the looks of it, hope the album still goes to #1 though.

So Flo Rida is out this week?

I rather like it. It sounds sooo similar to Usher's newie though. I tend to enjoy these radio friendly rap songs with a good hook. It makes the genre more accessible which is why I think it's so huge atm. I rank Airplanes as my favourite song of the year. I'd love to see it in the top 3 with Fireflies and CG.

I think LP may have been pushed back in the UK

'The Club Can't Handle Me' is a blatant attempt at recreating 'I Gotta Feeling' and I can't see Flo-Rida's track selling near the same amount as Black Eyed Peas. I'll be gobsmacked if it sold a million copies (or downloads) in the UK.

 

Next weeks top 10 could well have a big shake up after this weeks relatively static top 10 - even with a new no. 1 thrown into the mix.

 

Travie McCoy, The Wanted and Flo-Rida could all be top 10 new entries next week. Swedish House Mafia and Magnetic Man are the only two I can't predict - no doubt they'll be somewhere in the top 40. Maybe it'll be a busy week with all five tracks making the top 10.

I'm not exactly a fan of JLS fans but that is just plain disrespectful.

 

It's really sad to see N-Dubz get success when they are the biggest chavs on the planet. I might actually need to emmigrate to America - somewhere where they'll never be huge!
